Trying To Be Creative...

Trying To Be Creative... ...and I hit the Great Wall of Writer's Block. Let me give you a little background. Aside from my obvious job, I fancy myself an<b> amateur </font></b>writer. and I do mean amateur! i started writing a story on a website about six years ago. A year ago I changed websites because I became disenchanted with the original. I am not going to post a link to it because that could be construed as an advertisement and a violation of the terms of use. You can ask for it later. I will just say that it is a blogging website. Anyway, I was sitting here today, staring at my laptop, trying to will the next piece of the story to come out. but it wouldn't. Normally to try and get the creative juices flowing, I would go back about 4 or 5 posts and re-read them to get an idea of where I was going and that is usually enough to get some more writing out of my brain. But this time, I got nothing. So when I got annoyed enough, I went all the way back to the beginning, and started looking at everything I have written so far. I was looking to see where I could improve upon my early postings. Again, my brain refused to cooperate. So I eventually gave up. ugh. I'm stuck on a poem actually. The first few lines came out smoothly but now for the life of me I can't think of how to continue that sounds right. I sent an Angel to watch over you last night, it returned in a hurry. I asked why, it said "Angels can't watch porn." Thanks for fucking traumatizing my fucking Angel! Don't bother trying to figure me out. Not even the little voices in my head understand me. It's pointless!
