Attraction & Lingerie The title of this article may seem a little ambiguous, but the subject of ‘attraction’ and ‘lingerie’ may be somewhat extensive, respectively. This brief article is not intended to be scholarly, but simply expressive of my ideology in regard to lingerie, intimate apparel, sheer-skimpiness or whatever individuals and / or groups may choose to label this genre of clothing as. Again, lingerie covers a wide genre of apparel—some types naughtier than others. Various types of lingerie include: Teddies, Babydolls, Chemise, Corsets / Bustier, Hosiery (Stockings, Pantyhose, Socks, Garter Belts, Garters, etc.) and so forth. To extend the genre, lingerie in my opinion is not limited to such and such a style, but may be considered fetish or fancy as such, by whose fantasy or imagination may be satisfied. For example, Volley-Ball or Daisy-Dukes Style Shorts with relevant shirt and hosiery may be the look for some, while for others it may be a simple Body-Chain or Anklets with Ruffles / Bow. Moving forward, I would say that lingerie is a type of an enigma. Yet, what is it about lingerie that draws one’s mind or even the intellect if you will, toward lingerie? Does it present a mystery of some sort? Is it merely fetish? Or perhaps—both? Is the attraction to the lingerie or to the model? Or perhaps—both? Although the answers may seem simple, it may be very complex for some. It may be an attraction to lace, sheer, opaque or crochet over skin; the visually satisfying look of the body’s contour being clad with a certain material; or maybe the mystery of what is underneath the respective outfit, just to mention few examples. Perhaps one has a fantasy and imagines a playing-of-a-role. This could lead us to the realm of fetishes, which is a multi-faceted subject with a plethora of sub-genres. We may also inquire here, must one have lingerie to be satisfied psycho-physiologically (?). Lingerie for me is an enhancement to the one who is appealing in my point-of-view. There is no one type or style of lingerie that I would say suits my attraction. It may be Fencenet Fishnets with Nine-Inch Platform Heels this evening or Opaque Pantyhose with no footwear and a School-Girl Outfit tomorrow! Most importantly, it may not be the lingerie that makes the model appealing sexually, but the model making the lingerie sexually appealing. This was simply known as Sex Appeal. For me, it’s definitely a certain type of attitude that couples with lingerie which expresses a natural, persuasive and unadulterated sex appeal that is irresistible—the eyes, the self-nibbling of the lip, crossing of legs and so forth.
