“Women Get Better Not Older” (or Just A Thought)
“Women Get Better Not Older” (or Just A Thought) I was hotlisted by a man with the title quote. “Women get better not older,” as his profile line. I felt the need to address it. At what age do we become vintage? Or would we prefer timeless? Would that be before or after menopause hits? Am I wrong for questioning wisdom that falls in my favor? I am, to be certain, and acquired taste. Not everyone will like me, and precious few will love me. What is left are the tens of millions who hang on my every word. Right. They don't exist, but I amuse a few people along the way. But are women really like a bottle of wine? And if we are, is that only the case when we're unopened, as it were, or would it still be true even if we were corked? I snicker at the last concept, because I've been accused on the odd occasion of being like vinegar. I'm not bitter, I'm corked could be my next catch phrase. Smiles abound. I'm not aged like a cheddar or cask of whiskey. I'm a woman. I'm vintage. |

Ahh a fine vintage you are too. I am finding that women, give or take 10 years of my age are easier to be around. And when I say easy I don't mean easy for sex. What I mean is that we have something more in common to talk about, to do things with, again other than the bedroom. Just more life experiences to share. Now when it comes to the sexual side of things, older women are much better there too. I have been taught a few things by a woman closer to my own age than someone lots younger than I am. I have also shared my knowledge as well. And I like the catchphrase "I'm Corked" too
