JUST CURIOUS!

Has anyone besides us noticed , that people are more unfriendly lately? We've been browsing hoping to meet or talk with a lady and so we write a small e-mail asking if they would care to talk. And then NOTHING! Not even a no, get lost or drop dead. We e-mail ladies that according to to their profiles, we meet the criteria they seek. Maybe we are too nice and need to start getting rude and nasty up front. Maybe we were mistaken in this being a site to meet people with similar interests. We understand that we will not match or be what other people are looking for each time, but seriously!! Anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences?

 Hello WValleyCpl,

It does seem that most subscribers do not reply. My experience with one site is that 5% of emails sent out are responded to favorably, another 5% are responded unfavorably, with the remainder not responded to at all.

I always took that as a sign that women are being inundated with emails from men, and may not have the time to reply. However, I would have thought that women seeking other women would have a better return rate.

 Thank you for all responses to our post. You all brought up some very valid points!

Just as we were losing faith in this site, we had it renewed by a classy and beautiful lady by the name of "brainygirl22". Thank you! There is still hope here!!
