ED - Erectile Dysfunction, Informational Help

ED - Erectile Dysfunction

Can’t get it up anymore or not hard enough

For men who are having problems getting it up, or are not hard enough anymore, ED - Erectile DysFunction, there are options.

Though most are familiar with them, few seek them out.

First, there are pills, Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis. They vary from how long it takes to kick in and how long it lasts so men can get hard, even for morning and evening sex. If one company’s drug does not work, try another. Soon Viagra will be generic and cheap.

Even if you get hard, maybe it takes a little longer to get a condom on and you get a little softer, plus you lose some of the sensitivity. Taking an ED drug maybe a wise move prior to protected sex, and they do come in various doses. I believe Viagra comes in 25, 50, and 100 mg. One companies 100 mg drug is not equivalent to anothers 100 mg drug.

Some urologists have come up with a 3 ingredient injectable combination of 3 different drugs. It is mixed in their office and you inject it with a needle in your penis prior to having sex. Some men find this works. The cost of this is $50-$80 and gives you a number of injections for the money, however, since the final product is not a listed pharmacy product that is manufactured, it is not covered by insurance. Once you learn the % of ingredients you may find a compounding pharmacy to mix it for you cheaper than the doctor's office.

Another option is an inflatable penile implant. There are 2 piece and 3 piece implantables. The inflatable part is inserted inside your penis and fills with fluid from a pump. The pump and switch are hidden inside the ball sack and only takes seconds to pump up to full hardness and a quick second to deflate. Your penis will stay as hard as long as you or your partner wants! The female is unaware you have one unless you tell her or she notices you pressing the pump button a few times. Be aware that the penile insert does not increase the length of your penis. With some manufacturers, if you have a 6" penis, you will have a 6" penis; with others it will be 1"-1 1'2" shorter in length and not as wide. The doctor can tell how long your erection is, or rather was. The downside, though the implant can be removed, you will never be able to get a hard on again as they remove the spongy tissue with the blood vessels inside your penis to allow room for the inflatable insert. You wills till be able to urinate of course, and cum and orgasm.

Both Medicare and insurance will cover the implant at 100%.

Some men find taking Testosterone, either in a cream or shots, will help. The cream can go under your arm pits, some other places. After being tested for T, some doctors will tell you that your T count is high and taking more won’t do any good. This could wrong. There’s an average T count for men and for yourself, your normal T count may be above the average but los for you so a low dosage of testosterone may be all you need to get hard or retain your hardness though your count is within the levels of normal. Many doctors are hesitant to prescribe testosterone because it does increase your chance of prostrate cancer. You investigate and make your own decision.

There are foods which will increase the good flow to the penis. If you search the posts you will find several good posts on this.

Also you can buy an OTC pill, L-Arginine, an amino acid that helps increase the blood flow, and it does work for some.

One poster on here discovered sleep apnea was causing the problem. Once he took care of his sleep problem, his hard on came back!

I'm not sure if you are correct as I am rock hard already, 8 3/4" and thick, and can last for as long as I want using mental controls, also if I feel I'm going to cum, I pull out for 30 seconds or so and the feeling will go away and I am good to go for quite a long time. What really gets me excited, feeling a woman's hand down there furiously playing with herself.

As for watching porn, I love it and so does my girlfriend of 30 years together, she loves to watch gay porn as there are more cocks to look at, and we both love reading erotic stories together. Gets us both horny then we go at it together. At 63, she still wants it.

Thanks for reading and sharing.

my blood pressure pills cause me to have ED, thus I occasionally take Viagra. I also did have the T-shot and it helped also. I also found out recently if you have Sleep Apnea, it can have serious affect toward erections! I was diagnosed with this and I was put on a CPAP machine. Within a week, I had normal erections. I did not need T shots no longer!
