A New Role Here, May See More Of Me!!! I came here, I don't remember why, but it ended being an unexpected stroll down memory lane, discovering new things here, and apparently making me the surveyor of things gay!!! I believe I came here update my groups about the parties this August, and that led being made moderator of a group started by someone else. I decided I could use it to help mine, made a few changes and I guess it is mine as well. Somehow, I ended up at a local adult section, and started checking things out. I don't usually hang here long, but I started seeing novelties shops. and came across Patty's Lounge, which is close enough to my<b> massage </font></b>studio that I have benefited on my late nights there by walking passed on my way home. I have purchased a few handbags from the girls. I have bought drag from the girls, for Halloween or the occasional drag performance. But most importantly, a few attractive male drunks loitering in the parking lot near closing have found a better way to pass the time. I wrote a review and moved on.  Saw a section on gay baths, and they had 4 listed. I only knew of 2, so I perused it and learned the real deal. Technically there were 2 and I wrote a review for them. During this pandemic, neither are what they use to be, so I remembered better times with them. And especially at Club Indy, there were several. Many tipsy nights, I ended up there instead of trying to get home. And I had no problem stalking guys I wanted when I arrived. Going to the other end of the dark area when I saw eye candy go in, knowing they would pass me headed out. Sneaking up on a guy in the darkened steam area, and giving him a sampling of what I could do. Seducing a guy in the sauna who never even opened his eyes until I was done, and he thanked as he left. I actually had quite the reputation there, and the male strippers from the Unicorn Club did nothing to prevent it. I immensely enjoyed the company of nearly half the regular entertainers there. I have a few stories from the Works as well, but they aren't nearly as spicy. The or four times they have tried hire . I learned later that Club Indy wanted as well, but I spent too much there for them to lose as a paying patron. I have a few great episodes there...the awesome BIB meeting there, and the crazy from Kokomo. But I really should just finish this .  And the Unicorn had thinking about the other gay bars I frequented. So I checked them out as well. And there were no comments for any of them after 2007 2011, so I attempted do updates. Places like Betty Boops, Tubes and NYC weren't even mentioned. And several are now what they were in their prime. Illusions is now Zonie's, and who knows how much longer that will be the case. Brothers is now Ollie's, just a shell of what it use be. The amazing Jimmy's, which sunk into Jaguar's before dropping into Utopia, is now an art gallery. Awesome places like Oz and disasters like Ruthellen's came and went like most gay men. Then there were mainstays like Greg's Our Place, Metro and the Varsity, at one time the oldest gay bar in the city. Drag spots like The Ten and Club Cabaret, and my personal favorites, the 501 and the Unicorn, and I have great memories, back stories and reflections on them all. It is a shame really. Of the seventeen gay bars that were listed here, the dozen or so that were missed during my time and the nearly ten legendary gay bars before me, there are only five left. So it will be my secondary purpose to keep the gay side of this site more active, and I would appreciate all the help I can get with that. Just holler at me here and we will see what we can do!
