When Sex Was Fun Sex used to be fun. It just happened, no one really had to think about it (though we all did all the time), and while hooking up wasn't as easy as it is today, it wasn't as complicated either. No, not being nostalgic. The brave new world is hornier than ever, but it does seem with all the options more time is spent<b> getting laid </font></b>than doing it. Today we orchestrate our sex lives the way a composer does his music, writing for each instrument, each movement, each motif. Other than finding a place to do it, the mechanics were a little easier then, and the sex just as good we didn't know it could be better.. I'm no better than anyone else, but even in bed the options have become greater and it seems at times you need a stop watch and schedule: 30 Minutes Foreplay; twenty minutes intercourse; an hour of cunnilingus; squirting by two and a half hours in ... We even schedule spontaneity. There used to be mystery (granted overrated), now we expect to know everything before we e-mail and be intimate before we chat. It feels at times as if no one goes to bed without presenting a resume today.  The past wasn't all that great, but sex does seem as if it was simpler then for most of us. Now, lets have complex well orchestrated sex, here's the blueprint and my resume ...    Lust brings you together, love keeps you there, sex keeps the mechanism lubricated.  |
