Saint Patrick's Day
Heavy atmosphere of another pub
stomaches lined with potato based grub
an aroma of Guinness and hot sweat
because so full these places get
On St Patrick's Day each and every year
everyone crowded in from far and near
the music is Irish folk and or punk
or some eloquent boisterous drunk
howling Danny Boy at the rafters
across a gale of Celtic laughter
all those bright shining Irish eyes
full of banter craic and a few lies
so much green being worn
more Irish-folk than ever were born
Upon the Emerald Isle so far distant
and the drinking and<b> singing </font></b>constant
for on March 17th everyone is or desires to be
Irish born wild strong and always free.
