"You got lucky.........

"You got lucky......... Earlier this week, a underdog team, beat the Favorited team. Villanova beat North Carolina for the National championship in college basketball. They hit a last shot, with less than 5 seconds left in the game, and won it all. So, all this week I was thinking about luck. They say a Rabbit's foot can bring you good luck. It might bring you luck,by you having it. But it won't bring any luck for the Rabbit they got it from! There a term called, "Snake eyes" A throw of two dice, that turn up one spot on each. this suppose to be a lucky throw, in throwing craps. During this, you will win. Also you can get lucky, by "The luck of the draw". This is playing a raffle and you given a number and that number, is the number that they draw, and you win the prize. Luck even comes in a cereal. Lucky Charms, this cereal comes with it's own Leprechaun, can't get no luckier than that! It come with Pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, green clovers, purple horseshoes, and red balloons. Is it me, or some of this stuff is not lucky. Maybe it's suppose to be lucky, because that happens to be the name of the Leprechaun. Who would've figured? There are tons of songs with the work Luck or lucky. Here's a few. 1. Some guys have all the luck- Rod Steward 2. Lucky star- Madonna 3. Good luck, Bad luck- Lynyrd Skynyrd 4.Luck be a lady tonight-Frank Sinatra 5.With a little luck- Paul McCartney and Wings 6. So damn lucky-Dave Matthews 7. Love and luck-jimmy Buffett 8. Might get lucky-Darius Ruckers 9.I'm looking over a four leaf Clover- Art Mooney 10. You got lucky-Tom Petty. there's tons more. 7 and 11 supposed to be good numbers while 13 supposed to be a disaster. This remind me of a story, years ago, i was with my wife at this time. She said, I can't believe you still here with me, after all the stuff I done to you and put you through. You still here! I told her, like Tom Petty told his lady in his song. I said, You got lucky...... Riddle time**** I am a slippery fish in a cloudy sea. Neither hook nor spear will capture me. With your hand you must hunt and seize the fish.
