"I hope people that have scars......

Becareful of what you say or do. It might have a lasting effect on someone. Over the years I had many scars and I'm lucky most of the healed. Seem like it took a lifetime, but it happened. By it happening, I'm at peace and have no grudge or hard feeling toward anyone. I have a friend I've known for almost 30 years now. He love to joke, but hate to be joked, and he can be vindictive! He don't hold back if he's pissed off. Some people know not to fuck with him, so they keep their distances.

So, he decided to hang with me, that cool. Believe or not he's a good friend. He shy when it comes to the ladies, shocking he's 10 years older than me. Years ago, we all was hanging at a friend's place. This African we knew made a comment about him. He said it in front of a bunch of woman. He said, that this guy don't like to fuck! He like woman like all men do, but he lack confidence. This is in 1992, he still hate that African! A year later I was hang out with him and he got into an argument, with a couple of fellas, they all was drinking. One of them told him he wasn't black! He's a light-skinned black man

The next day he was mad with me for not saying nothing on his behalf. He said, he felt that us darker black have something against him since he's a lighter black He felted like I wasn't a true friend. They all was grown men, what was I supposed to have done? In 1983, he lived with his mom and nephew. His nephew was 17 years old at that time. One night he and his nephew came in drunk and argue, they wrestled and the nephew got him on the ground and punch him on the back of the neck many times. He told him mom what happen the next day, and she just laughed. He really was sad.

So, years pasted and his nephew is now 46 at this time, he when to visit hid grandma, and my friend wouldn't hug him or shake his hand when he left. he still hurt over something that happen 29 years ago. Six years ago, his sister came to visit and wanted to have a birthday party for their mom, this time his mom was 97 years old. They invited many people from NY. They all was from NY. One guy was invited, my friend said, that guy was mean to him as a , and it was over 40 years since he seem this man. He talk shit about the man, and said many bad things, the man didn't know why? What happen, happen when they was .

I later ask him, what did he do to you??? He wouldn't say. WOW! You talk about scars that haven't heal! How is he ever going to have a future with them scars? Would he go through life think everybody is the enemy? He live a shelter life, a loner and feel the world is against him. I feel so sad, what a way to live your life? So, I said, "If I had one wish and one wish only'! My wish would be, "I hope that people that have scars, their scars would heal!

The other day, I was watching a movie called "Knight and day" Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, movie within 10 years ago, maybe? They mention the word "someday'. Cruise character in the movie said, "It another another word for never". Is that true?

Lots of people have scars of many different kinds, and they always take time to heal..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I feel sorry for your friend because I understand that there are some scars which never heal. We may be able to push them to the back of our minds and think we have forgotten what happened but then something happens to remind us and we feel that pain as strongly as if it had only just happened. I know people say that we should forgive and forget but there are some things which are impossible to forget and hurt so much that we cannot forgive.

Wow this guy really have issue with self loathing, He need to get some help, there is some childhood issues at play, he just can't open up to anyone, he doesn't trust to open up, he can be a danger to himself and others, You can't force him to let it go, but be careful
