"I'm gonna to make you love me"! I remember when I was real young. There was a song by "The Temptations and Diana Ross", called "I'm gonna to make you love me". The song came out in 1968. I like listening to the song and when I got older I loved listening to the song. Over the years I had a bad marriage and many failed relationships. We know how to pick them. So over the years I met a woman who wanted me as a friend, so I was. It was hard knowing how I felt about her, but she didn't feel the same about me. One Saturday, I helped her moved, about 3 hrs in the moving, this guy drop by. He spoke and told her he can help with one load. He loaded up his truck, drop off the one load and said he had to go. She walked up and kiss him on the lips, and told him, "later tonight I would take you out for a dinner. He said"Hell no! When I come back later, we going to fuck"! She said, "OK, what time"? He left, I help another 3 hrs. I got a thank you, a hug and a Chicken dinner. A year later she moved in her ex husband from another state with one of their . I moved on, and she was upset that I wasn't her friend anymore.There was another, and oh how "my eyes adored her"! I would visit and she would always BBQ me a steak. She would mentioned about other relationships, I would say, "I love to be in a relationship with you". She would say. "I don't see that happening". One day she mentioned about an over nighter, she said, "You can sleep in the bedroom to the left". I said, "Can I lie next to you? She said, "No ,you just my friend". I decided to just stay home. Recently I tried another date site called "POF" Plenty of fish", you can respond for free. There was a lady on it , that I dated 16 years ago. That time, I was good man, but not ready to marry. She had two marriages since and now single again. I loved her, and this time, I'm ready for what lies ahead. During our time together, I was loyal, there was a few woman that offer me some loving, but I stayed true. So when we went out, we seen a movie and talked. She told me during the time we dated, she was seeing other guys. I was shocked, but determined to make her love me! I kept<b> singing </font></b>the word of the song in my head. "I'm gonna to make you love me"! We went out many times, and many times it was late when I drop her home. She never mentioned about spending the night. We went out last night, and of course it was late when the night was over. I mentioned to her, "It late and I'm tired, can I spending the night at your place"? She said, "No! Your a good man, but I only see you as my movie buddy". I put a whole lot of effort to make her love me. So now when I hear the song" I'm gonna to make you love me". I say, "That's not gonna to happen!!!!!!!!           |
