"A Happy Ending"

I was watching a movied called "Hitch" with Will Smith, they talk about love and trying find love with someone out of your league. How do you get someone, that don't know you exist or someone who would n't give you the time of . How would approached them or get them notice you. In the movie, Will Smith character is someone who can
help you get an opportunity of the girls of your dreams. But if you just looking for a Booty , or someone just Fuck, he can't help you .

But, if you loking for someone you love or can be in love with. He can help you. Happy endings, hmmm in real life, something the story don't last forever. Some do! I remember years ago, when my grand parents was alive, a party was given on their behalf, celebration their 72th Anniverisity. My granddad was a womanizer, a cheater and there was times he would be gone for months at a time My grandma would just work a double shift to survive . They had 6 and 3 still home.

She never filed for a divorce or get him on abandonment. She took him back every time! One he snapped and finally acted right. When I was ten , he told me that my grandma deserve better, for he wasn't a good husband years ago. A fairy tale, happy ending? My grandma would complain to my uncle about my granddad, my uncle would say jokingly " Don't complain about him, you should had divorced his ass 50 years ago"! My grandma would laugh. Maybe she should had divorced him?

We talk about fairy tales and happy ending, why would she put up with the stuff that my granddad did? Why would she spend his last days with him? Why? Maybe he was her "Happy Ending'????? To they both gone but be with someone over 72 years is "A Happy Ending".

I too had grandparents where the husband cheated on the wife for many years and yet they stayed married. The hardest thing is to forgive. My ex cheated on me and it’s been 7 years since. I still can’t forgive that act but I do still love her. That doesn’t mean I want to get back together. Unlike my grandmother, the betrayal looms large in my psyche. It might even seem hypocritical given my membership here, but that’s how my mind rolls. I admire people that can forgive or accept their loved ones indiscretions or faults. They are truly special people.

My name is MrWrong and I approved this comment

I could had moved on and had a wonderful life, but I wanted to see my daughter everyday. I eventually got divorce, she got remarried and her new husband divorced her too! Some peopl are just no good! Hang in there, let your next lady come to you.

You know my friend it's terrible what your grand father did to your grand mother but there was some reason she stayed with him, sometimes they say love is blind. Not saying that about your grand mother at all but that is a good example of that quote. And true love is always unconditional love..

I am glad that when he got his act together they got to enjoy a long and happy life together. I hope you find that a special lady to love one day soon my friend. And enjoy your weekend..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

72 years is incredible! What a legacy!
There is no rhyme as to why a woman will stay with a man who behaves terribly. Love? Guilt? And there are always many children. I had 4. Maybe that's a clue, LOL.

Hi my friend, I often wonder why too. But her love for him was greater that anyone ever loved anyone. Thx for viewing
