ok, I saw the first pic and thot ..wow, I love this one. Then I saw the next one and I loved it more, loved that little tiny vine wrapping itself around the stem to the top. And then, as I saw each pic that followed, I fell in love with them all. You have such a great eye for taking pics. Composition is fantastic, etc.

I had a pet grey squirrel once. Some loggers cut down a tree and he was in a nest. One of the guys gave him to me so I raised him in a spare room. There's a reason why squirrelly means what it does- he was nuts! I fed him milk and cream of wheat from a little bottle. As soon as he was weaned and eating nuts and bark I turned him loose in a local park. He ran up an oak and never looked back once. I kind of missed the little prick, but I knew all along I was gonna set him free as soon as he was old enough. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

It is beautiful. The place was a farm colony for the Kalamazoo Asylum for the Insane and had a village of Victorian dormitories and farm buildings, and tunnels linking some of the buildings. All that is gone now. A mix of the two would be nice, but Americans don't do much of anything to preserve their history. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Well, he's only wearing a fur coat... I liked my pet squirrel but I didn't lose sight of the fact that he was wild and meant to be wild. If I needed a reminder I got it when i set him free and he never gave me a second glance- he headed for the trees. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Lakes are magical, there is a special energy there, for sure. Am a Cartesian mind and all but I say this because during my pregnancies, towards the last week, every time, I'd ask my husband to come with me to Walden Pond, MA, he'd sit on a log while I walked around the edge of the lake, I physically needed it, especially under a full moon.
