Your daughters are far more at risk from legislators who would deny them full rights as equal citizens than from transgendered people sharing a bathroom with them. OMG, she is so full of herself, she completely fails to see the irony about bitching about misrepresenting oneself as something different. Leo: I ordinarily stay out of blog quarrels. But this went beyond a blog quarrel when a certain formerly popular blogger began making insinuations about our current top blogger. You know me. I don't care for the top blogger list. But right is right. It's persecution and it's pandering to people's basest instincts. We are all different, and most of us are more than a little weird. I knew you and I would see eye to eye on this. The top blogger's followers aren't in the dark. They know what they're reading. The former queen is headed for the bottom, and it's because of her own behavior. How petty and pandering and crude can she get? I MIGHT feel sorry for her, but this is all her own doing. If she had just shown some empathy and understanding she could have turned this into a personal triumph, but she didn't have the have the brains or the sensitivity. She might have congratulated her supposed rivals, but instead she attacks them, every time. How sad. How stupid.

I have been reading this post and other posts where people is talking about Her. Her petition and Her crazy behavior. Thank you to all of you for the support and speaking out. I just hope people takes notes and remember this. and don't enable or tolerate her lame behavior, by looking the other way, just cause they don't agree with her but are afraid to tell her. What they don't know, is that tomorrow it can be them. cause her pattern and behavior of attacking people over nothing is not new. she will always have something or an excuse to attack her "Competition". Not matter who it is or what it is. cause she wants to be the one and only one.

Ironically. I have gotten lots of support from bloggers that were totally on her side before. Some of her hardcore rabid fans have even sent me emails showing me their support. That was never expected. They truly prove me wrong. and I am glad for that. Some of them have also spoke out in here openly. who would of tho huh. She herself is sending the people to me. What a lesson. I guess they finally came to the conclusion of what is wrong is wrong. The problem is very obvious, and that is HER. Some finally saw it. Others will eventually do and will leave her as well. No doubt.

People need to keep this in mind and have it clear. I done nothing to create her behavior. I been blogging and minding my own business. Just like everyone else in here. But This is NOT her first posts about this matter. I have ignored a bunch of them previous to this one. This is not the first time she attacks people. I am not the first one and I will not be the last one. that is her behavior. It is a very clear pattern.

Also, No one is deceiving anyone but herself. Cause all she wants is the Top Blogger position. and wants to use people and deceive people to gain something at their expense. THE top blogger position that is. That is all her motive. It is not about gender or Wherever. is all about her getting the spot light or what she wants in here. And right now, I have what she wants but she can't have it. She is not capable to earn it anymore. cause is there for the grabs.

Last, My gender is very clear, and is well stated in my profile. My gender, What I am. or how I feel should not be in question in here by anyone else. Period. My profile is there and my blogs are there. Open to the public. I have NOT deceive anyone, is very clear. I am who I said I am. They just gotta read. If they don't want to accept it, that is a different thing. that is their problem. not mine. but don't say that I am lying to people. Besides. if I was at the bottom of the list. and she was on the top, trust me, we would not be having this conversation. so gender is not the issue. the issue is about her gaining the Top Blogger position back. She is using, manipulating and deceiving innocent bloggers for her gain. Hope people is smart enough to see it. and drop her and her boring outdated blog.

You are right, there have been reports of MEN (always dressing and acting like men) attacking women in women's rest rooms, and that should not be allowed at all. You are not right that MEN will be able to use protections meant for all people who identify as female using the women's room to perv on your wife or children.
I do understand you are concerned. I really do. I am not putting down that concern at all. I happen to disagree with your stance. There has NEVER been a recorded instance of a MAN passing as a woman attacking women or children in the women's room. It could have happened before now, before the supposed "liberals that you are accusing of taking the focus off more important things, to focus on equal right for people that amount to less than 1% of our population.", but it has not happened. As in ever.

I am somewhat bemused that you are accusing liberals of taking the focus off more important issues with this equal rights issue. Just let people who identify as female use the women's rooms LIKE THEY ALWAYS HAVE IN THE PAST (caps for emphasis, not yelling) and the people who insist on their "religious laws" need to stop imposing their version of religion on the rest of us. In my opinion, those people who try to pass unenforceable laws are Tami g the focus off more important issues like solving hunger, getting jobs increased to lower unemployment, preserving clean water and air for the population, and education for our citizens.

It took me a while to what was going on - when it comes to blogland politics, I'm usually quite slow to pick things up. But that petition was posted with hatred and gives blogland a bad name.
There is no need for a self-appointed guardian to police her very warped and narcisstic sense of moral standards in blogland or anywhere else.

I also usually try to stay out of drama on this site. I think I lost a good blogging friend because I did not care about the blogland top blogger list drama shit, nor did I really want to hear about it at length.
However, this petition showed up on my main page and caught my eye. I have deep feelings for ppl who are not mainstream...guess it's the mom in me lol They are perfectly able to defend themselves but I feel compelled to stand up next to them, show my support. So this was one time I had to put my two cents in, so I posted on her blog...twice. She did respond to my posts in a civil manner tho I don't know if the facts she stated in her response to me are accurate or not. However, she did not acknowledge the main point of my response.
There are a lot of fakes on this site. She seems to have a lot of time on her hands. I suggested that she use that time to find fake pics on profiles and report them so they get banned instead of starting such a petition as this one. In my opinion, that would be a better use of her time but that's just me.

Thank you for posting this. The former top blogger attacks anyone who she perceives as a threat to her position at the top. It occurred when she attacked others for posting images obtained from the internet and now she is focused on the gender of the top blogger.

She has tried to make her blog for friends only and that didn't work and she now presents as a person who wants to ensure that the members of blogland don't get fooled

She has every right to be here but she has no right to spew hatred. I am glad that people see her for what she is and I hope she fades into the background. I am glad people are standing up for fun, positive blogging and trying to lessen the hate and manipulative behavior.

Yeah- you're right. I refused to take a hit for the team. I find her antics so unpleasant that she's wholly unattractive.

I would guess that she's every bit as small and nasty in real life too. This particular trick has just gone on a bit too long and is especially nasty, even for her. If she wants to gather a posse of bigots and misogynists I guess that's her right, but she needs to lay off her current target. Please describe to me who is preventing perverts from entering public washrooms right now? How will anyone be screened when entering a bathroom? What you claim to be frightened of is as possible before and after discriminatory laws are passed. No net change in safety for you and yours, but an innocent segment of the population WILL be endangered by being forced to use male washrooms while they present as females.

Your argument makes no sense. It's not much different from restrictive voter ID laws to prevent nonexistent voter fraud, or laws banning Sharia law when there is no possibility of such a thing happening. It's a wedge issue meant to divide us politically and having no basis in fact.

I have been sitting with this post open in front of me for over an hour unsure of how to say what I want to say without being banned by the site. I had tried to stay out of this but enough is enough. This is just a repeat performance of so much that has happened in the past and it is finally time to put an end to it.

I am not saying that there aren't faults on both sides BUT harassing someone on account of their expressed gender is just wrong it lacks empathy and understanding. Well...I don't much care about the list either. But not everyone who climbs that list acts like a childish asshole, so it ain't the list itself that's evil. I should really know better then to comment on a liberal blog post. Sorry I said something about protecting our kids. I have concerns and a thought but I am wrong because I don't think or agree with you. I do truly believe that transgender can use what ever bathroom they choose. I just hope people and our politicians look at what can be bad about this and think about the negatives that could come from this. Personally, it's perfectly all right by me if trans members post as M, F, or T. I just don't care. When I see a member listed as M but looking F, I have a clue that there may be some ambiguity there. And I'm not a stickler about pigeonholing people regarding gender. Plenty of folks are ambiguous sexually. It isn't cut and dried, black and white, male or female. And it doesn't have to be. We aren't any of us all about our sex or our gender.

Something we have a chance to do on this particular site is learn about other folks and their sexuality. It's not always a simple issue, but it also isn't everything. I've made transgendered friends on this site that I never would have had the chance to know otherwise, and they've treated me wonderfully. The love I feel for them isn't about their genitals or their labels.

Yes, it is true. It is also vindictive and petty.

As far as certain legislators pushing for this ridiculous and bigoted laws, I completely agree with you - they try divert our attention from really important and serious issues. It's easier to create ludicrous laws than try to find solution for failing economy.

As far as ex-top blogger, I'm once again late to the party. I haven't read her "petition". But then again, I don't read her blog.
She seems to be consistent in her schemes and plots to hold on to her "status". This isn't first time.

This competition is extremely unhealthy. All catfights and backstabbing, all accusations and now 'petitions'... all this makes me sick. It would be much healthier for Blogland to get rid of this stupid list.

Perhaps, another petition is in order - petition to stop bigotry and discrimination by gender. Just a thought....

Our politics are different, you and I, but they're also very much the same. We agree about so much that really matters.

The political aspect of this I had no problem writing about. But on the level of this site, where you have to confront folks you know with something unpleasant, it's another matter, and can be harder to do. I didn't want to stir the pot or appear to take sides in a blog war or site quarrel. The manipulating and bullying has gone on for a long time- before I even joined the site. And there were other Blog Queens before, and I reckon there will be others again.

This petition was just wrong in so many ways that I had to say so if I was gonna be able to look at my face in the mirror. I'm not "involved" in the dispute, but it looks to me like one of the parties is also not exactly involved either. She's just minding her own business and trying to have fun, and she got popular. It made her a target for the jealousy and spite of a very small minded woman. That small minded woman needed to be called out for her behavior.

This thing isn't making a mountain out of a molehill, like a lot of blog spats are. When you're being unfairly maligned it's a very big deal. I'm pleased that so many bloggers stepped up and said so. It makes me feel good about people!

I don't wish the woman ill, but I think she already is ill and could use the services of a good therapist. Maybe some decent meds too. I'll second that, or third it, or...whatever. I have doubts about her state of mind. But there are people who are that hateful and that unprincipled. That in and of itself is an illness. The hell of it is, you still gotta deal with her hurtful actions. And telling the injured party in this to just suck it up because the woman persecuting her is sick just doesn't cut it. I started out in a home with one outhouse. We all used it and never had any fistfights about it. We moved up to one indoor bathroom and thought we were in the lap of luxury. I had to share a locker room with a bunch of grungy truckers. If I can do that I'm sure as hell not worried about trans people sharing the same can. I don't even mind sharing with Republicans, but I do keep an eye on their stance.

You can criticize me for disagreeing with a commenter here but I didn't shut anyone up or deny anyone a right to speak. However, I have a right to disagree and I'll keep on doing so.

As to your assertion that "she/he is still not female", we're just gonna have to agree to disagree on that. I don't see it that way.

As a guiding ethos, I will stand opposed to anything which creates a second-class citizenry. And yes, there is a difference between the false label of wanting privileges and putting anyone -- or any group -- into a second-class position. Within North Carolina's "research triangle" region are some enlightened individuals... and they're mortified (and in some cases outraged) by this.

As for the current kerfuffle... I'm almost glad that my current state of deadlines has kept me from blogging and reading as much as I would have liked of late. (Well, I also like paying rent and eating regularly, too.) This whole business is ridiculous.

A tangential note: When you speak with folks who are investigating, or who have investigated, their gender or sexuality issues, there's often an undercurrent of personal pain. I suspect most of your readers -- the enlightened ones, at least -- know folks who fall into this category. There is nothing about this which does anything but exacerbate or remind them of their pain.

Lovely. And entirely unnecessary. I'm going back to read and write about people who have fun fucking their friends and acquaintances. Seems a lot healthier to me...

What I have noticed the most about Trans biological males who id as female
is they mostly want couples FF , MF, or F only.
Transgender is a way of saying am special & to look at me, give me a participation trophy for being meh. I can be as discriminate, yell, act out, dress,
curse and you have to accept it or the full force of young society, progressives,
leftists and know some states along with US Justice Department to help me hammer you.
We will eliminate Free Speech & Free Thought. Only what we say will be allowed or we yell DISCRIMINATION.
So here when someone searches for Women they must be very careful that looking at a biological born female when that is what they want.
I am starting a new group for people to join. Up is really down. Black is really white people, latins are asians, arabs are jews, etc.

What you describe isn't progressive at all and I disagree with you that progressives, liberals or for that matter anyone thinks that any kind of behavior by transgendered persons is acceptable. Every group is going to have some individuals who are rude or surly, and even bigoted. We're human- we can't escape that. You can reduce the concept of equity to absurdity if you want to. I prefer not to. I don't think it's absurd at all.

Thanks again eMAN. Obviously there's some disagreement about what constitutes a "T" on the site or in the world at large. Even people who seem to more or less agree on the basics can't manage to come together about everything. There's enough variation in how people perceive their sexuality that I'm pretty comfortable with letting them simply define it for themselves. Our gender and sexuality have been shown to be about more than body parts.

I don't understand why FriendFinder-x doesn't just create a category for the catchall of people who identify as neither male or female. It would be very easy to do in terms of programming.

I'm all for equality and civil rights for all. As much as I have no interest in dating or hooking up with anyone who is not female, I think it would be nice for everyone is transgendered/cisgendered/etc had their own section on the site.

And you're right...you have to wonder about all the closeted Republican homosexuals who said they risked being converted to gayness if gay marriage were allowed. I've never had any doubts about my own gender preferences....

It kind of sounds like the way black people had their own section on busses back in the Jim Crow era, or how homosexuals had their own sections...in closets. Jews had their own sections in Warsaw during the Nazi occupation too. if I've taken your meaning wrong, I apologize in advance. That phrase "their own section" is confusing to me.

As far as "having their own section" the site's owners do have many different sites catering to different folks' interests, but all of them feed into the main site. We see their profiles and blog posts here with all the others and we share chat rooms. I like the idea of including everyone on all the sites. We're all human and sexual and I think it gives us all insight into what makes our fellow members tick.

Thanks for your comment. My post is mainly meant to point out the hypocrisy as well as the eventual futility of scapegoating other groups for mere temporary personal gain. There's a hell of a lot of dishonesty in that. It bothers me considerably that it's seen as the American way, as politics as usual. It IS true, but it still bugs me. We ought to hold ourselves to a higher standard.

I'm no authority on that blogger's history- there are plenty of bloggers who've been here longer than I have and they know her better. But there appears to be a pattern of being willing to say or do anything to get attention and not caring who gets hurt. I kind of doubt that she even believes her own bullshit. It just looks like opportunism to me. That behavior identifies her as a troll. I've been seeing that in our politics too- rank hypocrisy and manipulation of people's basest instincts, and it was time to call it what it is- despicable.

I think transgender confuses most people. Biologically one would need to be a hemaphrodite to be across or between gender. I'm comfortable recognizing a male as a woman if he has undergone gender reassignment. Otherwise he's just a crossdressing homosexual.

I'm convinced that it's very much about biology, and by that I mean the biology of the brain. There's a good article- "Check the Science: Being Trans is Not a 'Choice' by Leslie P. Henderson that talks about just that.

I find it interesting that scientists look to nature to qualify the unnatural. That is where science loses its footing somewhat. Transgenderism is not identified in the animal kingdom. I understand that humans are a complex organism but seriously. Homosexuality is identified in animal population but as a species we have exceeded proportionality seen in nature. There is not a significant occurrence of homosexuality in nature because it is a recipe for extinction.

Because a thing has not yet been identified in nature does not mean it doesn't exist. Since we don't communicate well with animals they can't tell us that they have gender ambiguity. All we have is observation. What observation has assured you that transgenders do not exist in nature?

Your statement "There is not a significant occurrence of homosexuality in nature because it is a recipe for extinction" doesn't make sense to me. I would assert that as long as there are a sufficient number of reproducing individuals, homosexuality in no way threatens the survival of a species.

Are you positing that homosexuals and transgendered persons are unnatural? Again, I disagree. They clearly are natural, just not as common as heterosexuals. Are redheads also unnatural? How about left handed people?

There are lots of people who specify one group of people over others. Why should that bother you? After all, I'm going to hazard a guess that you probably have groups of people that you don't want either because, um, you have preferences. It's ok to have preferences, BTW.

People who are transgender do NOT think they are better than anyone else, which is how your comment reads to the casual reader. They have their set of circumstances, you have yours. You identified as a male early on. They simply identified as the gender that they were not born as. It is pretty simple.

As to free speech, your comment is rather rambling but I take it that you think if people disagree with you that you are not allowed your complete free speech. You do understand that the First Amendment that guarantees Freedom of Speech means that you are allowed to express your opinion, no matter whether it is acceptable or not, without fear of the government coming in and punishing you for it? Other people who disagree with your opinion are simply exercising THEIR Freedom of Speech by stating THEIR opinion. That doesn't infringe on your opinion. If enough people disagree with your opinion, you might want to think about WHY you have the opinion you do. Is it because you are afraid of someone who is different than yourself? Is it that you don't understand how some poor person could have been born one gender and not feel that way inside? Is it because those people over there just have a different opinion based on their experience, whereas your experience is vastly different and you base your opinion on that?

Honestly, I am not challenging you on your negative opinion of progressives, liberals, transgenders, or anything else. I am simply asking you to think about why you chose to have the opinions you do and then react negatively to anyone who has a different opinion than you do.

I have written several posts regarding censorship. Having a different opinion than you do, is not censorship. I trained in journalism and censorship and the right guaranteed by the Constitution of Freedom of Speech; it's something I had to study for many years in school, and have since continued to study.

It gets old, doesn't it? There isn't anything wrong with wanting to have a high ranking on the list, but some people just aren't mature enough to handle it. As KItkat1415 puts it, this is why we can't have nice things.

The bathroom legislation isn't a bit different from laws banning Sharia law, or the Defense of Marriage Act, or rules mandating that creationism must be taught as if it were a scientific theory- they're all dog whistles used to stir up anger and resentment among the conservative base. They help to keep us divided.

Well I looked at this from a very much less political angle. I looked at it also from a less "I want to be top blogger" angle.
I have personally messaged with, and gone to meet a "female" member, only to find out that in fact it was not a female.
Whether they personally identified as female is not the question to me...it is: am I going to see them as a female or not? They presented themselves as one?!
I am all for being who you want to be, and this is a sex site so I would guess that people are looking for sex....presumably from who they want.
I say be who you want, but please do not try and deceive others to try and get your goal.
If you do, you can expect nothing less than some push-back. People will be upset if you try and deceive them.....and you know if you're doing it.
A person who identifies as a female, but has a penis, must know that another person who is looking for a "female", PROBABLY is looking for a person with a vagina.
Again, I am posting this not in response to some blog that should be read more than another, but to people who put up a profile and portray themselves in a certain way in order to MEET others. That is how I took the whole "Petition.." thing.

If by "the person in question" you are referring some person who was "top blogger", then I can see you responding to some post about that particular person.
I made it pretty clear that I looked at the Petition thing not from a blogging perspective.
The question that was put forth was: should a transsexual be able to have a profile as a female.
My answer, and the reason given, were based on that. I probably could not care any less if I tried, for who does or doesn't have the spot of top blogger, and the post I made had nothing to do with blogging.
If the question was "Do you have a problem with someone portraying themselves as someone they are not, in a blog?" I would say its all possible fantasy anyways, so have at it! Doesn't bother me one bit. People author whole books in the point of view of one gender when they are the other. No real issue to me.
I can't speak for BullyMcBullshit,(whoever that is supposed to be) but i don't even know who the hell YOU are talking about that "had a vagina or not"!!

There are deceitful people on here of both sexes. In my case it was a man posing as a woman. A man will pose as a couple as well. Men do it all the time on here, if I had a choice it would be that you have to have a profile based on what you are....regardless...it might make it a little easier to weed out what you want and what you don't....for all sexes.
Just be honest about who you are and what you want.
And for the record, showing off tits, ass, and a vagina doesn't automatically make you attractive.

Again, I take your point, and thanks for reiterating it. It did help to clarify, but you were clear in the first place. I take no issue with your wish that people would be honest. My contention is and always has been that the transgendered blogger being discussed here was never dishonest or deceitful. She was open about who and what she was, in her profile and in her blog. She chooses to identify as female and I'm not bothered in the least by that, since she was always open about herself. The point of my post was not to debate whether or not transgendered people are male or female or trans and can identify as they choose. I happen to think, as you do, that they can identify as whatever they're comfortable with. My point of view here is essentially political, in that I was trying to point out hypocrisy and pandering for personal gain, and draw a parallel between what was being done on this site and on the national stage at the same time. I contend that the issue on this site and in the larger world is the singling out of a minority not because of any real interest in public safety, or to promote greater honesty and truthfulness, or morality, but purely for some temporary personal goal. I stand by my assertion that it was crass, deceitful and petty in it's motivation.

Not sure how many members were blocked or not, but figured since you went to the trouble of creating a blog so members could share their feelings/opinions on this "petition" then I figured you'd want to know that the petition was removed.

You're welcome. I felt very strongly about this issue and knew that you and other great members like Rick were blogging, posting and being blocked. I truly hope one day the Lady might choose to come back to the site again. I've spent a lot of time either getting members handles back after being removed unfairly or trying to keep great members from leaving. This site is only as strong as our member base is. I will hope as you said, the Lady might not use the same name but might return one day and her personality will shine through whatever unique handle name she chooses.

You and I had never talked or had any interaction before your first two comments. But I was curious- I thought I remembered seeing your username on the site support blog so I took a look and sure enough, there you are on the site support friends list! I was initially inclined to take your remarks at face value, and I still am. I'm sure this is, as you said, an issue you're passionate about personally. But that "Petition" post remained posted for a good month and it appears to have taken off-site events to get it removed, after months of harassment and badgering of the transgendered member in addition to the Petition. So I suppose you'll forgive me for needing a grain of salt to go along with the kind remarks, now that I know a bit more about your site activities and affiliations. The wheels of justice appear to grind quite slowly here.

I noticed your blog posting about the petitions and saw Rich's too ( mis typed and called him Rick before ) then I saw how a lot of members posting had been blocked and would not know the petition was removed. I just thought you all had a right to know. No ulterior motive on my part, just trying to do the right thing. I mentioned when Buni asked me about this on Rich's blog, that our Dad had a stoke and I am busy dealing with the aftermath. When I saw the petition was there, then not removed I contacted someone and asked this situation be looked into. I just thought your blog and the members who post to it would like to know what happened since the blocking would keep you from noticing its removal. Sorry if any of this caused any confusion. I don't think there's any confusion, on your part or mine. I'm sorry to hear that your dad had medical issues. You were certainly correct in making that a top priority.

But you aren't the only member of the site support team. Were you the only member who felt strongly about this issue? When you are off attending to personal priorities does the whole team go with you? I'd think that the site's business would go on as usual during your absence. I'm thinking that maybe I grossly underestimated your importance to the site support team. They ignored this problem assiduously for months, and managed to ignore the Petition for a month in spite of complaints about it.

I reckon rather than being confused, I'm merely impressed that one site support member does all the heavy lifting. Maybe you can fill me in a bit about how all that works.

Thank for taking the time to explain . I really appreciate it. Thank you also for your kind words over Dad. I am not a paid employee of the site. I am friends with the Owner/Creator of the site and I know a lot of the staff and have worked on behalf of members for yrs here. For the last 6 yrs I have been working to stabilize the company and bring the Owner back to "right the ship" so to speak. I am a Volunteer/Intern in a way. If a member has an issue or a site glitch strikes, I go find the right employee to handle it all and fix things.

I agree with you that it took way to long to have the petition removed. I think with everything going on and site glitches the site had its eye on fixing things. I went to an employee I have known since 2002 and they cleared up the issue . I asked about Nice and was told to have her call into to CS if she'd like to come back. ( I stressed it was me hoping a member who is missed would come back ) Thanks to you and other caring members I was able to report the petition and exactly how many members felt it was wrong , upsetting and needed to be removed asap.

When members stand up and defend other members being targeted that is when this site can be proud of itself. I will make sure the owner knows what happened and how upsetting it truly was . We must stand and defend the TOU and never ignore or drop the ball when it comes to bullying or harassment or the members here. After all, the site exists because of its members. We can not afford to lose anymore good members.

Thank you for sharing your opinion & thoughts with Me. I spoke with an employee about Nice and what I saw, what the blogs defending Nice saw and how we'd like to have her come back but as we both said, it is her choice. After seeing that petition and the remarks I saw on some blogs, I can understand her not wanting to put herself through that. It is our loss not hers. I can promise you since the incident and petition was seen, the lights are ON and no more of that kind of bullying will be tolerated by anyone , male or female. If Nice chooses to consider coming back I for one would be very glad to see her and her blog back where it belongs. When this site was created in the 90's...It truly was FB before FB ever existed. The Abuse dept takes this kind of thing very seriously. ( as do I ) I have been in our chat rooms here and seen flagrant violations of the TOU and yes, reported them.

I'd like to think those members who engaged in this evil kind of harassment would think twice if Nice returned and anything untowards that they would say or type would be seen by the abuse dept straight away. Then they would be the ones deleted or blocked. Evil only wins if the good guys do nothing to stop it. I do not tolerate this kind of BS/Bullying in any aspect of my life and I would be very happy to see those members who engage in such juvenile behavior be removed from the site.

I think you and I see this the same way. The person being harassed was effectively driven from the site, and the site not only contributed by looking the other way until the deed was done, but rewarded the blogger who was harassing her. It seems to me that in this case, white man speak with forked tongue. Their actions speak much more loudly than their words, which come across as empty platitudes. The site may or may not prove their commitment with future action, but in this case the damage has been done, and they allowed it to happen and then patted the offender on the back.

I can appreciate the fact that this happened to you.
The person is question who insists on posting petitions KNOWS that the person that they are directing this at has it specifically written into their profile that they were born with a penis but identifies as female.

How do I know that the former top blogger was directing this at one person? Because despite it being against TOU (the rules of engagement if you will, here on AF*F*) she has named this other person on numerous occasions, they have verbally sparred with each other on other people's blog comment's section, and continued to until both were thrown off. The aggressor in this case was let back onto the site, while the victim has not been allowed back on.

This strikes me as wrong and I will continue to speak out against this.

I don't know or care about the pettiness going on between the two in question, but an interesting question does pose itself here. IF the transsexual wants to be truly honest doesn't FriendFinder-x allow a person to identify as an transexual rather than as a maie or female? If not, FriendFinder-x should consider it. I, for one, am fed up with all of the guys posing as couples or women just to connect up. We're supposed to be all adults here so let's start acting like it.

I do care about the pettiness. It was one sided and malicious. The implication that there was pettiness "between the two" is incorrect.

As to "truly honest" I guess you'll have to define that for yourself. The transgendered blogger identifies as female so she chose that option. She also explained that she was transgendered, male to female. It was honest enough for me. I won't engage you in a debate about how people should identify as to gender or preference. There's room to disagree. But the spectrum of our sexuality in fact resides between the two poles of heterosexual male and female. It isn't the poles that are in question here. It's that broad expanse in between that is, and it is truly broad with every kind of nuance and permutation. In some ways gender is finally being recognized as not so cut and dried, black and white as we used to believe. The ones who are different are at last being acknowledged.

The people mentioned here have been acting like adults. I'm sure you've noticed that very often adults behave abominably. In this case one adult certainly was behaving badly, and all to try to regain her forever lost position as "Top Blogger". As I said in my post, it was shortsighted, stupid, petty and wrong.

I don't reply on many blogs... so sorry if I ramble. I don't even READ blogs normally, but a month or so ago I went to browse around and see if there were any active groups in Georgia related to trans or CD people. From there, on the community tab I saw the "Petition" related to this blogger as a hot topic, and that obviously caught my eye.

I followed that thread and this one. I'm really glad this thread was here. I made a reply over on the other side and the poster wasn't exactly rude to me, but I really didn't end up feeling heard, and it was made very clear that person in question doesn't see me as even capable of being anything more than a man in a dress. I suppose its fair enough to see me that way, it's just not fair to harass another person for not agreeing with that view.

The blogger who now appears to have self-exiled spoke of herself on her profile as female. She did that because your profile is supposed to be about who you are in your own words. If you ask her both to be honest (if this is a campaign about dishonesty) and to talk about herself. Her truthful answer is she sees herself as female, and she's telling the truth in describing herself as that. She went even beyond that to talk about how she was born, so there was nothing hidden.

I leave my profile in the TS/TV/CD world because it slightly lowers the chance of myself getting harassed. If anything, I feel cowardly about that, not truthful, but it's something of a reality. I worry about everyone who wants to meet with me: "Will they feel the same way afterwards?", "Am I a fetish they're ashamed of?", "What happens if they worry I'll tell someone we were together?" and it's easy to conjure up scary mental images.

The thread on that other blogger's petition really devolved extremely quickly into a lashing out against trans people in general, and being honest again, it's rough to see people hating the idea of you just existing. I can understand why nicelipps felt some pressure to just have that hatred directed at literally anything else.

I brought all that up to say that it was surprisingly meaningful to find people here speaking to the other side. I would never ask that everyone has to understand trans people, it's a new thing for a lot of people and I get that, but just having a number of people who allow the thought that I'm still acceptable as a human being carries meaning. So thanks to all of you for that.

It goes without saying that trans people are as varied as any other gender, so I can't and don't intend to speak as some sort of group spokeperson, but to me, as an individual person, I really appreciated everyone who spoke up against this petition, particularly those without a direct interest from being in the trans camp.

i m old, so some times things get by me.. and i m not sure this is the person that i m thinking of.. but , then again , if the shoe fits...
while i agree this is so fucked up .. and i have raised this issue with this woman that i was blogging with and was on my watch list..
and like i said i don t know if its the same person we are talking about.. i have to think that she is also obsessed with being top woman blogger.

The real truth here is not who the top blogger is (the top two currently being real women), but what the top blogger was pretending to be. This person is no longer the top blogger because the lie has been exposed. If this person were truthful they would still be the top blogger or would have never been the top blogger.

There seems to be some effort to keep up the pretense that nicelipss suspension was about her using F as her gender, and that it was also the basis for the former top blogger's Petition. There may be some minions of that blogger who are dumb enough to believe that. The truth is that nicelipss' only transgression was becoming popular enough to take over the top blogger spot herself. The new top blogger is clearly female and already the knives are coming out for her. Her fans are being threatened and emails denigrating her are being sent. This is an old pattern that has worked in the past to manipulate the blog list. The old battlewagon attacks anyone who she perceives to be a threat, and she doesn't care how low she has to sink to do it.

Can you ask the members receiving these kind of emails and threats to keep a copy of them and the handles/members causing the issue so we can make sure that CS and Abuse receive copies and nip this madness in the bud. For some time now we've been discussing changing or doing away with this Blog list for this very reason.

Hi Ana....it must be years since our paths have crossed....maybe not since the active days of the "FriendFinder-x is listening" Group.

You must know as well as I do that the site had agreed....after a lengthy campaign by bloggers....to abolish the list as is stood then and replace it with the trending, active and random lists. I am almost certain it was in 2013.

However the site back peddled because of very vocal complaints by the then top blogger and we now have the two systems running in tandem...list view or blogger view.

It doesn't matter how often people complain to Abuse and CS...very little is done when it comes to bullying or abuse and I hope you don't mind me saying....If the site is planning to get rid of "the list"....I would actually prefer to hear it from the site itself....even then I will believe it when I see it.

Thank you for mentioning this. I watched the fall out from the petition and have just heard about these emails and messaging folks. Years back one of my friends in the UK went to my blog and posted about how great this member was..I'd never heard of her until then. I can tell you I saw the "Message to The Resident Bitch" post and viewed it and reported it. I no longer see the msg on site at this time. I have only ever had one profile and this is it. I never saw a reason to have a back up one or ghosting/spying profile. If a member has one as a backup plan, that is fine but if a member uses their multiple profiles to target people or pimp their own blog etc then that is not a good thing and needs to be brought to the attention of CS and Abuse. I will need to ask CS , Andrew and abuse but maybe there should be a limit on the number of profiles one member can have or use. Years back we had problem members ( males ) using hundreds of profiles to stalk and abuse members. I fought for a limit to be placed but the idea was not acted on at that time.

I was told the site is working on a way to protect all members and I am working on ways we can fix the damage the petition caused with our LBGT community. I am working on a blog post that is going to ask members what can or should be done to make sure the madness of the petition is NEVER repeated on site again. Every member is important and their rights should always be protected. No member should ever feel they are being excluded and no member has the right to go against the TOU and organize a lynch mob against ANY member.

Hello Sexy,

How lovely to see you again. It has been awhile hasn't it ? Thank you, you are so right . I remember when the site created the new Blog lists. I was so happy because I suddenly discovered these amazing bloggers and their words that I did not know existed until then. Yes, I do recall the anger some bloggers felt due to the new way of listing and letting everyone be at the top of the list. That to me was the fairest way of handling the whole list. I know how bad the abuse and bullying can get here. I've spent more time on the phone with legal dept and CS & abuse then I'd care to remember. Fighting for either myself or on behalf of other members. I can tell you it is a battle worth fighting and things do get done. I brought this up again with Andrew when I gave him a full report on what had happened to Nice among others. I have asked that the list issue which seems to be causing no end of problems for all members be revisited. Why on Earth have a list when certain members are feeling excluded from or that they " Own " the top spot by right ? You know me, I never give up when I am fighting for everyone even when it seems I am fighting an uphill battle and alone in the fight. When I hear anything concrete I will let you know and ask that either Site Support or CS post something about this on the site.

Happy Sat Night. Thank you for asking your question which I think I did answer before . No, I am not a paid employee of the site. The way we look at it is that I volunteer or intern on behalf of Andrew who is a friend of mine off site. I know how hard it is to fight the endless battles. I've been fighting behind the scenes for yrs ..for members, for employees , to get Andrew to come back and help work/fix on the site/company.

Yes, when I use the term "we've been discussing " it is in reference to whatever issue is currently affecting members. I went to Andrew with all the information in regards to the mess the nasty petition caused and cost us a well loved/admired member in Nice. As I mentioned to Vixen, I am working on some ideas to unify our community, especially our LBGT members who feel targeted at the moment or excluded from all of Us because of that so called petition. When I saw the petition was still on the site..I went straight to employees I trust in abuse and gave Andrew a full report on the whole situation. That is the " We " I was speaking of.

( in those days the blogging community was not as large or as much of a voice as we are now ) Thank for taking the screen shots , keeping the evidence. If you'd like to share anything with me so I can personally hand it in and make sure something is done feel free to send it to me. Please believe me, I NEVER give up. I fought for this site and its members for yrs and I won't give in to problem members. I said once before that every time we lose a member it is like a light going out. Thanks. I'd be interested in hearing what the list might be replaced with. And I'd like to see a discussion forum if members' input is going to be considered. A number of members have talked to me about a rotating list. The blogs would be featured in a similar way to the three blogger photos that appear above the Most Active Blogs list. I'd enjoy hearing about other ideas as well. There does seem to be a consensus that the list lends itself to manipulation and to unhealthy competition for the top spot.

Something else that might be helpful would be to see some participation by actual paid employees of the site with some rank. I appreciate your comments on this post and I take you at your word that you're genuinely concerned, but frankly, I'd like to see the site put its money where its mouth is. Your input here has been helpful and pleasant and I hope you'll continue to interact with us, but the site administration should be demonstrating its good faith by spending some time and effort itself. A good way to begin might be to restore the "CEO" link that was formerly on the main blogs page. The site needs to back up what you're saying to us with some real action.

And! We're all kicking up a fuss because we love the blogging community here and we appreciate the forum that's been created here. This is a very good blogging venue. We want to make it better.

You're not naive, and it isn't only the list. You're quite right that there is one blogger who's a poster child for bullies and spiteful behavior. But she isn't the only one who succumbs to list envy. It only takes one kid in the sandbox to spoil it for everyone and make a rules change necessary, but we've seen enough of the list to want to discuss a possible change. Banning one member won't change the structure here, and I'll say up front that even a change in the list format won't fix bullying behavior. But I think it WILL help, and that we should try it again.

I don't think it's possible for people to construct a perfect system. You have to keep amending it and fixing it to try to fine tune it and get it to work. People adapt and figure out ways to circumvent the rules and manipulate them, and in a way that's admirable. What isn't admirable is when they trample all over everyone else in the process.

But I can still read a list and if a post is removed it shouldn't take hours to disappear from the list. So I'm confused by the remark that it's been removed and yet still shows upon the list.

Thank you for your message. I am in support of a rotating blog list where all sorts of blogs can be featured. Every blog should receive equal attention. I have been asking that a new Community manager be hired. The last 2 we had are friends of mine and did a brilliant job here. WE need that kind of input again. I have seen some of the employees posting to some blogs. I can mention all of this to Andrew. Andrew's blog is still on the site and I have a link to it on my blog but he does not check it as often as he did before. I do know there are employees who do check his blog. I can ask but it is their decision on how and where/when they interact with the site & members. If anyone wishes to send any evidence of abuse to me I will make certain it gets to the right people. You are also correct Sir, when you said the post to Resident is still on the site. I searched for it quickly the other night and had hoped it had been removed. I found it,again today and saw 4 pages of comments and have the link to report correctly now.

You are very welcome for my reply. I never felt like you or any of our other wonderful members were grilling me. You cared enough to ask questions that I did My best to answer. I am still angry with myself that once I saw the petition I thought someone was going to delete it right away and alas as we found out that was not to be. I think we all know now that the blogger meant Nice and was determined to have her leave the site. I have been asking how we can bring Nice back (if she wishes) and to have her call CS and just come back. ( if she ever wants to, I wanted her to know the door is open and the abuse she suffered will NEVER be tolerated again, ) You are 100 % right that the kind of behavior would never be allowed in a work place and is a direct violation of the site's TOU. Bullying on site and should NEVER be tolerated against any member.

I understand what you are saying about the blog list..I have only heard of 1 blogger so concerned with being at the top of the list..so I think if the list rotates and shows all the blogs on site, introducing members to one another is a great way to keep the doors of communication open and get members to know one another through their blog posts. I have no beef with the idea of top blogger. But I do have a complaint about what some people do to achieve it. I want to see it abolished. I don't expect fine writers to top the list on this site. Happy Weekend to you too. I am doing great & enjoying the Rio Games on tv. I spotted the new " blog " and the second one done in her " honour " and made sure to report both. The moment Nice returned here these new so called " blogs " were posted. Obviously she is doing this because Nice came back. What I will never understand in this horrible mess she created..why not just sit back, post her pix to her fans / members and enjoy being popular among her own little group ? Why get so jealous because another woman is popular ? Shouldn't she just be happy that ALL women on the site are receiving their share of popularity including herself ? As a Life long Blogger, I embrace all blogs and cheer for everyone who is writing , sharing ideas, words, concerns, fun and what ever photo they choose to share. I'd rather be in a group of like minded folks then feel the need to be Number 1 & always above others and afraid of other REAL women who have a right to post and share as much as she does. I understand what you are saying but NO honey, Don't think about leaving or closing your HNW group. that will not help. Things will get in a positive side around here. It does hurt to be seen that way or to read those things. But things will be Ok. Eventually the source of those comments will run out one way or another. You have consistently stood up for women being harassed and abused in the blogs, Missy. Don't give up. I'm disgusted too, and that's exactly the response the trolls are looking for. This isn't a dispute that will ever be finished. There's a kind of nihilism in their behavior that denies any good in any of us. They repeatedly insult our intelligence as a way of asserting that we don't have any. Keep doing what you do- you're an example to others, and you have a great deal of influence.

Bloggers like those two think that everyone is essentially the same as they are- that we're all self centered and wantonly cruel, and they've convinced themselves that they're just doing this for laughs. The way to win at this is to be yourself, because you're better than that.

Good for you Missy. I know it is frustrating. especially cause we all have to share this same space. I do know what you are saying. I felt that way many times before. but never let it get you down. you should stay standing like nothing is hitting you. Enjoy your time here with people that you like and that like you in return. Your friends. That is the best protection. I know that is how I was able to make it. cause all of you. I saw and felt all the love instead of the hate. I am actually working on a few new projects now, you guys will be so proud and surprised once I share all that with you. time will come. is all good things that came out of all those attacks. I even got a job offer haha, who would of tho, that is how we should work, to make out of negative things something positive. it is hard but possible. we just have to learn how and not lose sigh of who we are through the whole chaos or process.

Missy has been saying that all long. Like, now we're going to make pets out the transgendered? Missy's outrage is well placed. That contest is supposed to demonstrate that all those "T" people just love Bully McBullshit.....and she loves "them". In fact it was just meant to be irritating. This is what passes for blogging in their world.

Hello RB,

I can not call you the B word when you are no where near the description of that word. I ask myself all the time, with everything this site has gone through over the yrs..the sale to P House, then Andrew coming back and now this. The one thing all members should do is treat each other with respect and tolerance. This is an adult site after all and not Kindergarten or Jr High popularity contest. I have watched the site lose wonderful members, male and female who just left or were bullied & abused into leaving. I keep seeing messages from men all over the site..."WHERE are the real women / people at ? " Instead of sitting on top of an empty blogging throne, she should be encouraging REAL people to stay, to be respectful and tolerant of ALL members or she will be soon be all alone on that empty throne sitting on her blogs with no one to look at her or soothe the fragile ego.. Yes, also noticed the other blog making fun of the LBGTQ community by one of her " men ." At least the site can now see what these abusive members are up to and put a stop to it. Olympics are awesome & am enjoying it all

If the site were worthless all this would be a moot point. Members would treat it as just another sleazy porn site and move on. Many do already, and the behavior you describe contributes to that.

I think though that Conru was on to something when he started the site, and for me the best part of it is in the blogs. This has been a very good blogging venue and it's worth fixing. We have a remarkable amount of freedom of expression here. Bigotry and abuse don't need to be a part of that speech, and can't be if the site is going to be inclusive. When they are, it turns into a free for all where the meanest son of a bitch always wins.

The Active Blogs List needs to change. It won't end the competition for numbers but it will stop showcasing it.

Kzoopair,

Thank you for reinforcing what I've been saying for 6+ yrs. I never thought this site was worthless, if I did, I would not be fighting so hard to get things fixed, to protect members and talk to management.This site was created to let people have a free, safe environment to make connections, network, make friends and have fun. Andrew created Blings and fought to keep them here..same with the blogs. He loves creativity and he wants this bullying & nonsense to end. He and I had a very long discussion about the attack on Nice and what that cost this site in great members we can not afford to lose. You are right we need to change that active blog list. Without it, No member has a reason (and never had the right to do so) to bully more popular members. I can not understand what drives some members to engage in such horrible behavior. I think we need to have the TOU posted everywhere on site. I am a great believer in second chances but right now, I am out of patience with the troublemakers on this site.

Happy Tues. I have done what I can over the yrs to advise men on the best ways to approach the ladies. Using them, dick pix, and one word emails are a Giant NO..so using women as mere holes or insulting other women because they are trying to please a blogger is ALL WRONG. They claim they join this site to make friends & meet women then start posting blogs against female members or comment on disgusting blogs meant to humiliate a woman blogger. I agree, this kind of grotesque behavior can not be allowed or tolerated any further. Had the situation been reversed and the blogger who started this mess been on the receiving end of the hatred she fueled against others..She would be screaming for this site to shut down, cancel memberships and ban everyone from being a member here. You'd think one, just one of her " friends " would take her aside and say " Stop the hate & grateful for what you have. " No Member should have to put up with this kind of stupidity and cruelty. I hope we can end this nonsense NOW.

I appreciate your comments here, your interaction with us about this and your efforts to make positive changes. I know very well we can't eradicate all bad behavior and the site probably wouldn't be much fun if if it were rigidly policed to ban every incendiary remark or rude post. The harassment that nicelipss endured and her subsequent suspension crossed a line of basic decency that was also timely- it mirrored the scapegoating of gay and transgendered people in the nation at large. That it was done in competition for the top spot on the list made it high profile.

Which brings us back again to the list, which I'm inclined to keep bitching about. I want to see that list changed. I'm open to suggestions about what form a new list might take, but I'm sure something that at least dampens the competition for numbers can be devised. At present we aren't even able to discuss the recent change- for the worse- in the list because site support is still in denial about it. Firstly, that it had changed at all, and secondly that it had ever been sorted differently. How do you have a talk with someone who insists on denying the obvious? Are the blogs that unimportant to them?

Thank you for your kind words & message. Thank you for allowing us all to share our thoughts on this situation. I am in total agreement with you about the abuse & that darn list. Years back I was talking to the head of legal dept and I was mentioning some abuse ( which was light and nothing like what Nice & Our LBGTQ community have faced here ) and he and I agreed that a chat room brew ha ha involving " You're a B*&&&.." was NOT a banning offense but that was yrs ago when this place was full of amazing members and the insults were about that level.. Now the abuse and bullying has reached levels I have never seen. ( and believe me, on this site, I've seen just about everything )

The thing that just frustrates me is what I keep going back to. Men joined this site to meet, talk and perhaps go out with the Women who are on this site...Ok I get that...I am not here to date but to help..as a Woman if I see a man calling any woman or man insulting names, degrading them, making fun of them..I would walk away as fast as I could from that member and quietly let all the women members know that this was NOT the kind of man they want to spend time with. In the end the insulting man thinks he is so cool & awesome for hurting, bullying and abusing women and then wonders why NONE of the women he sends messages to reply. As a Woman I believe in supporting and cheering on my friends & fellow women. I LOVE seeing one of my friends or a woman I admire receive attention in a positive light. How great a feeling that is. It would never occur to me to be upset because another woman has a higher position then I do on that blasted list. Yes, I noticed the Blog list mess and the glitch and am about to send Andrew another alert on the need to change or just get rid of the damm thing. Instead of showing us all a large group of blogs we might not have seen or read, it has created a jealous chasm with members pitted against each other. The site does care about our blogging community. After all the Bloggers are the most vocal members on site, are the members first to notice and report a bad incident or glitch. I have seen members be thanked by the site time and time again for catching something they missed.

I promise you EVERYTHING is being reported and compiled into a large report for management to see. There will be changes. Once again, I won't give up.

Things good here, thanks for asking and I hope the same for you. I am aware and I promise you, so is the site/abuse about exactly how much this member has said and done. I also heard when members posted on the obscene petition in a negative light..those remarks were deleted and members banned. I have heard of women who do not like or tolerate other women but I am not friends with anyone like that. When I was a kid I had a pal like that who would talk to me but ignore any girl who walked up to me and stare at them as if they were not there. She just explained " I do not like women " I was so young it made no sense to me. It still doesn't. Some women just do not like other women or feel jealous if folks like them better. No amount of " Please Behave and Play Nice " will work. The Blogger & her entourage are set in Their ways. As I said to KZoopair, the site is aware ,Andrew knows, there are things going on behind the scenes and hopefully very soon this will all be a very bad memory.

I promise you a fix to this problem is on its way. Thank you for sharing the link to the jackass blog post where the gentleman apologized for his mistake in dealing with that petition. Proud of a member who chose to stand up and publicly apologize for his actions.

It isn't nothing to keep on doing the right thing and not give up. So many people get weary of it and quit in despair. A lot more never even start. Whatever good comes of this, you deserve a lot of the credit for making it happen. Don't sell yourself short.

Kzoopair, I have a very good friend that happens to be transgender, born female, identifies male. He absolutely HATES the "bathroom law" movement. He and I talked about Target's bathroom policy and he stopped shopping there because of it. As he stated "a month ago, people didn't understand me because of my identity, but now because of these laws and policies, they hate me" And he brought up a very valid point, most people that are opposed to the laws are opposed to tgem because it does literally open the door for pedophiles and sex offenders. He showed me a case in Missouri that happened at Target. Their bathroom policy went into effect on a Friday, on Monday, a registered sex offender and convicted pedophile was arrested in the women's changing room holding his cell phone over the top of the wall and videotaping and 11 year old girl as she changed. This disgusting individual took advantage of the policy and an 11 year old girl paid the price. When police questioned the employees as to why they let the man in the women's changing room, their answer was "because of the new policy, we weren't allowed to stop him because we might have offended him". I am 100% for non discrimination and for equal rights, but I agree with my friend Mike when he says that the bathroom laws are not the place to start. He has worked with many of the schools here to develop policies for transgender students on this and they are working out well, from using the "family bathroom" to using single stall faculty restrooms if a family bathroom us not available.

If your friend disagrees with laws like the one passed in North Carolina, then your friend and I agree. But I don't see how Target's bathroom policy opens up any door for pedophiles and sex offenders that wasn't already open. And I can't see how North Carolina's law closes any door that was not already closed.

If employees at Target failed to do their jobs, that is indeed Target's responsibility.

What I see is that transgendered persons are being scapegoated to further the careers of conservative politicians who love nothing more than a chance to thumb their noses at the Obama administration by defying the guidelines set forth in answer to issues regarding bathroom use by transgendered students in American schools. The safety of other bathroom users was never further from their minds. If you can point me to that news item I'd love to read it. But all I was able to locate are stories on the American Family Values website, along with a few other right wing websites, and I don't credit those at all. It doesn't surprise me a bit that the only sources I could locate are all right wing socially conservative sites. I wonder if they might have some agenda?

Please come back and finish reading. This post turned into a sort of impromptu open forum. I ended up just being the moderator. I LIKED hosting this, and I was pleased that so many people felt strongly enough about it to comment and engage, and that so many were willing to show support for a well loved and respected blogger.

I am glad to see that the awful petition didn't work for her. the whole thing was painful to read. Targeting people for their gender or sexual orientation is NEVER good. I am so glad that members in their grand majority said NO to it. and that FriendFinder-x said NO to it as well. Things like that evil wrong petition and other evil things she said. Those were the things that sink her own ship. I am so glad and thankful that FriendFinder-x saw everything for what it is.

Frankly- many of us commenting here have been referred to as bullies and "blog police" for speaking out against this nastiness. That's bullshit of course, but people don't like to have unpleasantness talked about. They often want to pretend it isn't happening because it didn't happen to THEM, right? They want to go on having "fun"- you know, gay bashing, trans bashing and generally acting like ignorant bigots. Fortunately, there were enough bloggers here with a working conscience that stuck to their principles and sense of decency. We got Thalia back on the site and the site has made a commitment to stop the harassment as soon as it starts in the future. This site of all sites should be tolerant of our differing sexuality and be inclusive of all preferences and all the many gender identities.

Your attitude is ill informed and narrow minded. If you took the trouble to educate yourself about gender dysphoria your ignorance might be cured, but fixing your bad attitude will take more work than just learning the facts about what it means to be transgendered.
