August 17: Wear Pink and Take A Stand Against Bullying!! [blog ethicalslutMissy] has named the 17 August HNW theme as [post 3870637].-August 17: Wear Pink and Take A Stand Against Bullying!! This is a great cause and I encourage you all to get behind it. Put on the pink and stand up to bullies. Most all of us have been bullied at some time or other. Or maybe we've bullied someone ourselves and are ashamed of it. Maybe we've seen it and said and done nothing. It's never too late to change and it's always worthwhile to to show someone being bullied that you won't stand for it, that you have their back. There are good comments on this post too so don't skip those. Bloggers here are doing the right thing and declaring that they're sick of it and won't tolerate it anymore. We can have fun with it, we can laugh about our contributions but we have to be serious about stopping it. On this of all sites, where we'e trying to connect with others we have to come together....heh, heh, heh....and refuse to allow it. Could you be talked into half naked? I got picked on some, but I never really thought of it as bullying. Kids can be fucking cruel. I remember listening to an interview with the guys who created South Park. They in turn had been listening to a woman who was talking about how pure, innocent and sweet children are until adults get ahold of them and condition them to be mean. They were looking at each other and shaking their heads. "That's not what WE were like! We were like the kids on South Park!" Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

It tends to alienate people if it's just pure nastiness. But you can call trolls and bullies out, and call them names and do it with some style and humor. You're quite right that the situation started with someone's nasty words but it isn't wrong to fight back. Bill, Bullying is bad at any age. The greater problems are institutionalized bullying/mistreatment. It starts in kindergarten, minorities and poor white people bear the brunt of it. I told you earlier how my kids, who had allergies and astigmatism were casually classified as special ed. I moved from a blue collar neighborhood to where most people are 1% ers. Had I stayed in my old town we would have been under DYFS supervision for being bad parents for not giving medication that would have prescribed by doctors for our kids. The latest figures as of 2013 is that there were 8,389,034 kids on psychiatric drugs. 4,404,360 kids on ADHD Drugs, 2,165,279 kids on antidepressants, 830,836 kids on antipsychotics, 2,132,625 kids on anti-anxiety drugs. Interesting thing is that those of us who moved from A and B districts to i and J found our kids instantly cured. Now I live in one of 25 J districts in New jersey. School districts in New Jersey are categorized by the socio-economic characteristics of the local district. From lowest socio-economic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J. From my personal experience ia whole of kids are classified as somehow defective to receiving federal section 8 money. Only thing really wrong with them is that they were born poor. In other news: "A New Jersey dentist has been linked to 15 cases of bacterial infections, causing an "outbreak" that included one death. And John Vecchione is still allowed to practice. The decree comes after a two-year investigation that began after Jefferson Township's Ryan Del Grosso was diagnosed with with endocarditis about five weeks after having two wisdom teeth pulled. Ryan, meanwhile, underwent successful cardiac surgery. But he lost 30 percent of his hearing and has severe ringing in his ears. As a consequence, Vecchione, signed an agreement with the N.J. State Board of Dentistry to use "best practices in sanitation" after more than a dozen people had to get surgery because of the bacteria, according to state officials. Endocarditis is an infection of the heart’s inner lining or valves, and typically occurs when bacteria from other parts of the body, such as your mouth, spread through the blood stream and settle in the heart. " It is absolutely disgusting how this dude treated human beings worse than animals, fucked up their hearts, for 2 fucking years and all he had to do was sign a promise to clean the instruments  . We need to fight for equality and fairness in every sphere.
