She's not who you think she is.

Meet Adriana7755

Now, before you go reporting me to A F F, she isn't a real member. She's an account the site created.

Site support sent me an email from Adriana7755 to test my account, and in turn they replied on my behalf. I knew I hadn't replied to "her" message so to make sure my account hadn't been compromised I ask the site support guys on their March blog Site Problems, Bug reports, Customer Feedback and Suggestions March 2015 if it was them. They duly replied that it was indeed their account.

I should have asked why do you need a fake account to test on the site? You already have the Site Support account that I would have assumed would be used for testing.

Adriana has a blog post I am dating a man who is very devoted but never emotive. One member commenting that Adriana is a "mystery" on her profile.

Adriana has 25 top fans. Do they know she's not real? Her top fan "quan09" viewed my profile. Another test account with lots of blogs. One perhaps aptly entitled "I hate my life". "He" has a profile picture of two very young looking girls.

Adriana has one photograph. If you do a Google search on her image she's suddenly Nataliya from Kishinev.

If you really want to meet Nataliya and be her friend you can!

With all the complaints about bots, fakes, and fudging member numbers, why does the site do this? Surely it doesn't help their cause any.

Yes, I get that they need different accounts for testing purposes, but why use a picture? Why have top fans and accept friend invites?

I think these accounts are misleading to say the least, and it makes me wonder how many of them are on the site.

One thing's for sure, they'd never make good spies...

That is kinda of my point, and why is it that they think that it is just men who are ready to be duped, has anyone noticed a male profile where they are using a professional male model as the honey pot.

it is a business, I get that, they sell access and fantasy I get that, but i would feel better if they were clearer and more balanced

Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

Horny_Holly replies on 4/29/2016 9:34 am:
I've seen quite a few male profiles using male models, actors, celebrities and athletes as their own photographs. I always report them, but sadly the site can be slow in doing anything about it. Often they only remove the pictures but allow the person to keep the profile. I think the whole profile should be deleted. If you're pretending to be the person in the photograph you've stolen, what else are you hiding/lying about?

I have to say, though, they're so obviously fakes that I don't have much sympathy for those who cannot see straight through the fake pic and lies.

Business or not, they shouldn't be allowed to have full profiles that look like 'real' people. They do state somewhere, I believe, that models are used for advertising purposes. But of course it's not something everyone will read and leads to poor, delusional men and women believing in a fantasy that does not exist.

Thanks for your comments, and welcome to my blog, Free

    Quoting lil_whimsical:
Glad I read this ... YEAH ... that's TOTAL BULLSHIT that the site created, and admitted to creating a fake profile ... did a blog ... allowed people to "Top Fan" her ...

... there are plenty of existing accounts that they have by the employees of the site, that they can use to test anything that they want to test.

AT VERY LEAST ... they should post a disclaimer across the top of a fake profile or blog, saying that it is a site-generated page for testing purposes.

I still don't believe that the site is creating fake profiles en masse to trick members into joining ... there have been so many fake 3rd-world country bot attacks creating fake profiles ... all of them trying to get member email addresses or phone numbers ... directing them to off-site pay accounts or immediately asking for money ...

PLUS ... all the site would have to do is hire an assortment of female employees, to spend 8 hours a day, emailing and chatting with guys, going on webcam, interacting with guys ... writing blog posts and articles ... and it would keep an AWFUL LOT of guys happy and not complaining. To my knowledge, it's never done this ,,, if it did, those accounts would rise up the ranks of the popularity lists ... and although a number of members have been accused over the years, of being site employees ... none were.

And I want to reiterate - to those who misunderstand me - I am NOT saying that there aren't fake accounts ... there are tons, there always have been. What I am saying is that I DON'T BELIEVE those accounts were created by this site to interact with members to tease them into joining and paying for memberships.

IF anyone wants to test that theory ... like Travel_Couple69's allegation ... then email/interact with those fake accounts and see whether they are there to "entertain you" and get you to buy a membership, or whether they are trying to get your contact information, for you to go to a different site for a membership/cam etc., or bullshit money out of you.

If it's the last three ... then it's a 3rd world country bot-created profile, with scammers behind the profile ... NOT A.F.F.
Is it scamming people when you lie about your age?? I'm pretty sure you were a lot older a few weeks ago

Great post Holly, although they need testing, they're actually treating men as stupid - poor fellas

Thanks, Seraphim!

I agree. It's unfair to the not-so-savvy men on the site. They could easily test without a picture, or use an unidentifiable body part if they really must use a picture.

Thanks for taking the time to comment

Interesting this profile is no longer available. I said interesting, not surprising. Perhaps the heat got turned up after this blog post and members who witnessed the exchange between you and site support. I checked the March post on their blog from12/3 to 20/3. Did they remove your comments on the blog too?

I recall a number of years ago a dating site (Ashley Madison?) was being sued in court over fraudulent profiles. A witness claimed to have been hired to write them. I'm not sure of the outcome though.

I have the heart of a lion and a lifetime ban from the San Diego zoo.

Horny_Holly replies on 4/11/2015 7:37 am:
I'm not sure why you can't view the profile nor see my blog post The profile is still visible, and they haven't removed my blog comments.

The site should definitely play fair, and should not be registering non-existent people/accounts.

Thanks for your comments!

It's weird the site wouldn't use obvious accounts for testing. If they're doing this to boost their numbers then it's just wrong, and as you already said, misleading to other members.

Just another of the thousands of similar examples why FriendFinder-x will not get a dollar from me. Its bad enough having to deal with all the fake profiles from "women" currently in some African country studying textiles (seriously... they use that line like its the only one in the world) or pointing me to their pay-per-view webcam... I certainly don't want to deal with it from the site itself. Even if the profiles are such obvious frauds that only drooling horndogs whose thinking is limited to the little head in their pants (roughly 75% of my gender ) could take them seriously... its the principle, damnit!

Horny_Holly replies on 3/19/2015 6:57 pm:
Yeah, I don't blame you

The reason that the line is still used is most probably because it still works on certain men. Sad, but true. It's up there with the men who write their undying love for women after a week - a woman with common sense and self-respect wouldn't fall for that - but that's all some other women need to hear and they're parting with their hard-earned cash I still cannot believe that in 2015 people are still falling for such scams, but they are

75%? Haha, try 99%!

They seem to think they're above the law.

ARF have run into problems with the fake profiles they create before - though on a much grander scale.

About five years ago they had a "purge" of fakes - possibly because American authorities were interested about their false advertising, based on the number of profiles. Prior to the purge I'd noticed that there were about 300 nameless, featureless, photoless women in Cambridgeshire who would log on at the same times twice a day

Look at "whose online now" and there were pages of them! But they never sent emails, viewed profiles or flirted... they weren't the normal fakes. And because they had no photos they didn't show up in most searches ...

As I said, ARF did a purge, the numbers of women in Cambridgeshire dropped from 1400 to 900 over night!

If they deleted profiles that hadn't been in use for over a year that number would probably drop to 90.

Of the women that ARF say are on the site there's probably only 10% who really are...

Nataliya looks nice though

Horny_Holly replies on 3/18/2015 10:55 am:
Well, excuse me for not being grander! I'll try harder next time

Nataliya is very beautiful, I agree But she's way out of your league. You know, given that she's not real

Yeah, the amount of deactivated profiles that haven't been deleted is a joke. Messages in my message centre from a now deactivated member still shows their picture, their blogs, making it look as if they're still active. Their comments on other people's blogs disappear, but their own blogs stay intact, very odd, and again, misleading.

I can see why they'd need a profile like that, a normal one like yours or mine, but not one that acts like it doesn't work for the site, instead, acting like a normal person. It all comes down to what groups the accounts are in. I can certainly imagine the site support account having rights that don't make for a good test profile when checking to see if stuff is working because the site support profile has too much real power around here.

Smart as a horse and hung like Einstein.

A test account should be just that. Used for testing accounts, no profile information or photographs other than to state it's a profile belonging to the site. To state otherwise is fraud.
