Let's Kill Cupid

I am V-day hater this year. I probably secretly was last year too. I won't be getting any chocolates or flowers. My heart is sitting in a dish drain leaking. If you've lost love and your heart has sprung a leak, remember this one thing. Your heart will heal and plug the holes and most of all the center is a fountain and if you let it, your heart will fill and overflow with love again.

Time is a great healer and sometime latter even the pain can be a fond memory.

There you go
That's all and none of it tragic.

Strange, I don't even mention St. Valentine nor laying any blame at his feet

Well said you are so right, the heart is very resourceful and will bounce back from
pain you never want to feel again.....love is about so much more than just V-Day celebrations so join the many who are not so fortunate this weekend.

That's a poignant image, the heart in the dish strainer. It makes me want to pick it up and polish it, but instead of it getting dryer I imagine it getting moist again - aye, a miracle.
