Can a Person Really Be Bisexual?
Can a Person Really Be Bisexual? I was recently talking to a Gay friend and he made the comment that there is no such thing as a bisexual. I'm not out other than to my wife and couldn't tell him that I am Bi but I take great exception to his comment. Any thoughts? |

Thanks "seXperimentMI". Your profile says you're Bicurious. Have you given into it yet? The best of all worlds.

I am bisexual. Sometimes I want a guy, sometimes a girl, and often both at the same time. IT is all just individual taste really.

I'm bisexual, and am attracted to both men and women. Physically, emotionally and everything in between. Why let love (or lust) be limited to a particular gender? But seriously though, it IS unfortunate that more males than females get more flak for being bisexual. We are who we are. Let's be honest about it.

I've heard this a lot and mainly from gay men and gay women. There will always be ignorant people.

Yeah....gay is gay....It's completely different than Bi

Straight, Bi, Gay, who cares. As long as you enjoy the one your with, it doesn't matter. It's just a label.

This argument has always seemed silly to me - as if someone could know what another person thinks/feels. I've been happily frolicking with both sexes for a long time now - not getting tired of either one of them.

They are two different words, according to Webster: Bi: sexually attracted to both men and women Gay: sexually attracted to someone who is the same sex LOL!

Yes, I do think a person can be bisexual. Sex with your own gender and sex with a member of the opposite sex can be two totally different things with different sensations and differing physical responses. There's a lot more going on in your body, physically and subconsciously than you think when engaging in sexual activity. You may think a blow job from a guy and gal are exactly the same, but I'd beg to disagree. There are a lot of guys who do not have an erection when getting topped for instance. Yet women respond to insertion of a penis into their vagina. There is absolutely zero fear or concerns of pregnancy with MM and FF contact so that is a very fundamental difference. Just a few thoughts but I do think a person can be bisexual.
