Real Bodies

This post is in response to many of the statements that I have had said to me on this site or that other members have told me they have had made to them. You need to know that most of the women on here are probably adults who have lived a life and quite possibly had . The following will address bodies. Just for the record, everything on or in my body is real and I was born with it, except for my pacemaker, which is needed to keep me alive.

First, know that pregnancy and birth is a natural part of life that our species must have in order to survive. There are some women who can have and pop back easily without stretch marks or difficulty getting their lower abs back to the way they were before. Not everyone is that lucky. If you are vain or you happen to have a preference for these "perfect" bodies, that is fine - to each his own - but do not degrade or attempt to embarrass another member. Everyone has different preferences for body styles and it is best to leave the comments to those who can make others feel better. Because, believe it or not, at some point in time we are all going to get old, wrinkled, saggy, and have weight change. I mean, I'm almost 40 and don't have a single wrinkle. Does that mean that I should degrade those who have wrinkles? No.

Second, I have talked with lots of people who have profiles that state that they want others who work out as much as them. So, I will message them and then they see my picture and make crude comments. Therefore, know this. Not everyone who has problems with weight is a food guzzler or lazy bum. Some people just have difficulty with weight. For instance, I have three hours of ballroom dancing, 3 hours of swing dancing, 8-10 hours of zumba, and several hours of toning exercises that I do every week. Due to medical issues, it doesn't do me much good with regard to weight, but I like to believe that it is helping my inner body be healthier. So, if the body bothers you, fine, but don't make assumptions that the person is lazy or an overeater.

So, I believe that is all that I have to say about that. I just wanted to enlighten those who may have never thought about these extenuating circumstances with regard to bodies. I admit that I have scars everywhere and stretch marks. Well, I earned every one of them and they don't affect how I see myself. Therefore, it shouldn't be your place to try to make someone feel bad about how they appear.
