PEACEFUL MORNING

Hey there FriendFinder-x friends and fans!

Just starting my day and I have determined it'll be slow mode! I think we're in for rain...not sure (right now the sun's coming out). The way I see it, every time it rains is a time I don't have to water the flowers! Speaking of, anxiously waiting for the flowers I planted in the back yard to have their growth spurt. These are growing from seed and I'm waiting for a variety of wild flowers and for the morning glories and moon flowers. Waiting rather impatiently I must admit! I'm sitting out on the back porch and I can hear the baby nuthatches chirping in the bird house hanging from the ceiling up over my head

I took a day trip west yesterday. I sure am a beach girl but oh! Those mountains are so beautiful! It was a gorgeous day. Perfect for hopping in the car and driving. My specific destination was a used book/CDs/DVDs place I like. I'd not been to this one and I had fun browsing. I bought two James Patterson books and a...Get this!...a Lenny Kravetz CD of Greatest Hits! It only cost me $5.75 It was an excellent day though good to get home (easily a "12 hour day" and arriving home after 9:00pm. Cats were happy to see me!)

Well, I think I'll fix breakfast and brew some coffee. I heated up some decaf for my first cup so think I'll brew caffeinated. They say "The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup". I don't have any Folger's but I've got some other kinds. Gonna go pick one.

 Sometimes you need a lot of rain, to avoid watering flowers. They are thirsty things, so, if it has not rained for a few hours, get your wellies on and go water them! As for my coffee, only real grounded stuff, and number 6 until someone makes a No 7!

You are RIGHT! Flowers are thirsty as well as beautiful. We must keep them watered. I often water twice daily if needed. Coffee is also a MUST---for us Ginger
