Have you ever chatted with somene on here or somewhere else, exchanged pics, and then decided to meet, only to find out that the pics don't fit the genuine item? At all!!! I do understans when people want a face pic or any pic before meeting even though I still feel it isn't always necessary. This is why.
I think we all agree that not all of us are photogenic and that our face pics probably aren't a great representation of what we truly look like, most of the time. I have reluctantly sent one a few times and kind of got burned with no pics in return. Oh well. The issue really is the what pics you're sending. I have a story I'll share about why people really need to represent themselves honestly if they're going to chat and send pics, in the hopes of meeting up with someone.
I was chatting with a woman and we developed a nice rapport over time. We decided to exchange pics. I sent mine and she sent me several back. She was a very attractive blonde and I thought looked young for her age. I was still a novice on this site then. We decided to meet, which was like a 50 minute ride for me. We met at a commuter lot close to a place we were going to go if things worked out. I got there before here and waited a few minutes and then a car came in and pulled up along side of me. She opened the window and said hi. I was absolutely sure this couldn't be the woman I chatted with. She was easily 300lbs, the car was completely full of garbage and there were cigarette<b> butts </font></b>everywhere in the front seat. I was sickened. She asked me to come sit with here. I declined. She actually asked me what was wrong and I nicely told here that she completely misrepresented herself. She then asked if I wanted to go somewhere, anyway!!!!!!! Oh by the way, she had in her profile that she was a light smoker and told me she only smoked on occasion. Apparently, that meant every 5 minutes was an occasion. I was pretty mad. Before leaving, I told her that should be much more disappointed in the future if she kept doing this and that others probably wouldn't be as tactful as I was. She admitted to me that the pics were from 20 years earlier. Ugh!!! Lesson learned.
