I'm only 5' 4" (at a stretch) myself.
It's better to have loved a short person than never to have loved a tall

My ex (about 5'1") flew up to stay the weekend with me one time and had to ask a fellow passenger to help put her luggage in the overhead locker. And then again at the end of the flight to get it back down.

It's a conversation starter if nothing else.

I'm only 3 foot. Well half of me is only 3 foot.

I've dated women that were as tall as me, and lots that were shorter. Can't say I've ever based it off of their height.

I feel ya on the long legs though. My daughters are both shorter than me, and are constantly telling me to slow down. LOL

At 5-8 I always wondered what it would be like to be tall, say 5-9!!! But nothing I will ever be able to do about it, short.. you don't have a problem seeing the labels on the lower shelves, even at my height it bothers me that some things I want/need are always on the bottom shelf.. Nothing wrong with anyone's height it is just you. An individual trait that is just natural, don't let it bother you. when you are at the sales lot slow down, if the sales person wants your business he will be at your side, don't think they will just walk off from a sale...

Those damn Dominicans with their good hair

I'm not terribly short but tall people do forget just how long their legs are and they all walk way to fast for me.

I am fairly tall for a female, but walking around NYC with my 6ft4 friend I had to hustle to keep up with those mile long legs. I feel ya.

I am the only Me you get.

One of my best friends (we've known each other about 40 years!) is literally a foot shorter than me -she's 4'11. She's never complained about keeping up with me walking.

As long as your feet reach the ground you are not too short

I am short. Only 5 ft 1. I like tall guys. Something about looking up at a guy while kissing them. Tgirl is 6 ft. With legs longer than the average male. I given up keeping up with her in stores or anywhere.

A funny story about having short legs though. When I started training to do 10 K runs. I always kept up with these 2 tall girls, they wanted to walk fast, but couldn't do the run training due to injuries. I had the 3-4 steps per their 2. Well this one time my son needed a drink so I stopped to give him a drink of my water bottle, went running up to catch up to the girls and ended up a 1/2 step behind them. I couldn't for the life of me close that gap. One of them had to reach back and pull me forward to get back in step with them.

i am 4'10" short...so that's the reason why i am attracted to tall men...

in fact, all my men are tall, no one under 6 feet tall...

so they can reach and get the things for me, or put the things up high...yah...that's it, ain't it...nothing sexual about it...haha...

by the way, have you ever tried these exercise??? i have been trying these so long...

Yup....EVERYBODY is taller than I am. Except grade school kids...and even some of them are taller! Seems that most of the men I wind up with are 5'10" to 6'4". Yeah, that doesn't look funny.

One of my nicknames from friends awhile back was..Long Tall. So that would be a double dislike from you Lala as I'm tall with very long legsServed me well though running up & down a Basketball court, only had to take half as many strides to reach the other end of the court.

I'm laughing at the thought of you like those shorebirds boogie-ing back and forth at the waters edge!

My workout partner is about 5 inches taller than me and while I've got proportionally longer legs to torso, (isn't that a nice way to say short waisted?) I STILL can't keep up with her on actual pavement. Thank goodness for treadmills!

Tall people don't usually get on my nerves specifically but there are a couple of things:

1) One time, I was talking with a friend of my cousin's I'd never met before. My cousin went out of the room for something or other, so left me talking to this guy. He was 6'7". I'm only 5'1" and after 5 or 10 minutes, my neck was beginning to hurt. He didn't even bother to sit down or anything, so I made up some excuse and left the room.

2) Tall guys on FriendFinder-x who think that's their main draw. It's not. Seriously. "u liek tall white guys?" or "u liek tall young guys?" No, I neither like nor dislike. Good personality and cute face matter much more. And I reeeeeallly don't like the tall guys who perv on me just for being short.

I have dated several women taller than me, and yes, the old saying all are the same heighth in bed is NOT true, men shorter than women they are in bed with, if more than 4 to 5 inches, will have difficulty multi-tasking, such as penetration and breast attention, etc. Women shorter than men, have the same issues, but rarely multi-task anyway during funn, whuch men seem to be ok with, grin. An old cpl freinds of mine, she was 4 ft 6, and he was 5'11", worked out just fine, she rode him like a horse so they both said, lol, even had a saddle in their bedroom, no, I never asked! And I knew a little gal, who was 4foot, whose hubby was over 6 ft, and they did just fine also, even had a few kids together. But as a short man at 5'6", I have never understood women several inches shorter than me that reject a man of my height and want guys as much as a foot taller, WHY ??

I am short as well...5' 2 1/2"...with short legs.

All of my children were taller than me by the time they hit 6th grade. I learned to walk fast, but since I've moved to the south where it's so damn hot in the summer, I've learned to walk slowly, so I don't get sweaty walking to the car. It's a challenge going anywhere with them, lol...but they do slow down.

My ex was 6'2". And, while I don't mind a tall man, I have been with a few that were only 6 or 8 inches taller...and it was kinda nice not to get a crick in my neck when we were standing and kissing.

About the only time it's frustrating to be short is when the stuff I need at the store is on a shelf that I can't reach. I've asked strangers to help, and never had anyone say no, but one or two looked at me like I was a crazy lady.

I have always been tall or at least since around the ninth grade. There are many advantages to being tall but non better than being in crowds or crowded concerts. I always have fresh air and a good vantage point to see. Yes, I am really tall so I am use to ducking my head in houses under chandeliers and ceiling fan lights. I have a friend who is only about 5'8" and he calls me "shorty." I also use to love that song and thought it was funny when a group of dwarfs put out their response song of "Tall People."

As I told someone else, though, this is what I do most of the time, "when I reach for items in the store that are juuuust out of my reach, I try to "wiggle" it to the shelf's edge with my fingertips to make it fall without it falling on *ME*...I try to catch it."

Ha! I have used the fingertip trick...and another object, like a box or package that is in my cart. At home, I use tongs instead of dragging out a stool, it it's not too heavy or breakable. I've contemplated sticking a pair in my bag.
