Never Have I Ever: read a ramblin play by play of birds in a bird bath. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I certainly have noticed the birds both bathing, and drinking, the same water in the bird bath in my backyard. I guess the former is sooo hot, the later can wait to drink the bathwater. My BEST pickup line was not one at all. I genuinely commented positively on a necklace a lady was wearing. Turned out she made it herself. Well Young Lady, I am surprised. your ramblings tonight were legible on first read!!! So good to see you here, been lonely lately without you... I have heard of the proposition before but been a long time back.. Just can't even think of it... Maybe sharing a bath if the water is warm and the tub is roomy... Birds, I see this often.. I have seen them run a cat away from it's food and eat it. Bathe and fuss about who is first.. The fun thing to watch is a squirrel trying to eat the bird food from one of the newer squirrel proof feeders; I think they get mad, they will fall to the ground, dance around , jump up and down and try again.. With the same results.. Not sure how long it takes one to figure out that that treat is not allowed.. Pick up line? not sure I know that I used one, just the truth of the moment..Then you don't have to remember anything!!!! Stop by at lonlyforlove2 also see Lunch with Lonly , we get snow tomorrow Check my blog on New Community, "A photo of my big Pecker" also, " My Sunday afternoon with the kids'

When I think of birds, I always think of my grandma, who used to throw handfuls of bread in the yard, and how it is sort of speaks to a deep philosophical notion, in my contemplation. I sort of became interested in birds, when I looked out of the telescope of a friend's mother, who was a bird watcher. Recently, I went down a rabbit hole of bird/aviary omen information. For instance, cardinals are communicators from the other side, like, your deceased relatives can communicate through them, or, when you see one from a distance, and it flies in a strait path, close to you, over your head, it means you have a whirlwind romance in store. There was a lot of interesting information that I encountered. Nevertheless, interesting post. take care. *. *. *

That’s funny - I saw almost the EXACT same thing a couple of days ago, right down to a mourning dove trying to interrupt a robin. I don’t have a birdbath but have gotten in the habit of having a pan of water on my patio for the critters. Pickup lines? I remember at my first summer job (McDonalds 🙄 ) a young man marching up to the register and saying, “I’ll have a Big Mac, small fries and your hand in marriage “. I was mortified.

Drink my bathwater? That's funny, LOL. I love to watch our yard birds. They fuss and fight over my bird feeder. The doves are too big to land so they tend to peck what is kicked out to the ground. The Cardinals seem to run things down here

I didn't realise Robins were so territorial until I started watching them during lockdown. Never heard that phrase before now, and to be honest, it makes me feel a bit queasy. Worst ever pick up line: I can do a great trick with my sporran when I'm turned on......wanna see? Ramble away McBiggles......always enjoyable!

I had never heard that line before but it sure got my attention. What a fun post you wrote. I have watched birds bathe and fight over the birdbath. It can be so entertaining and relaxing to watch. Thank you for the read and my you have a great day. If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

Use too enjoy the variety of birds that would show up at our feeder and bath , even had a Pocket Guide too identify them , until some , SHEEP DIP , found it fitting too Steal the Bath As for pick up lines ; I once read one that stated ; By the look on your face . I can see that you need a clit licking and after that a dicking . NEVER used it but was tempted just too see what kind of reaction it would get In the meantime ; it is nice too see a frequent regular back on the Blogs

I call my next door neighbour 'The Bird woman of Alcoholtraz'. She has bird feeder's and baths in abundance in her back garden.

Yes. Not wasteful and biodegradable. And also perhaps an illustration of how the universe provides, even for creatures that tend to go unseen. Update. Just put some bird baths in the yard. Maybe going to put bird feeder. There are already a lot of different birds around. There are two morning doves who will just lay around the yard. There is a wall around the yard so I think they feel safe. I was sort of taken aback when I saw them, then I learned that this is typical of morning doves. Last summer they had babies. These little birds the size of a quarter hopping around the yard. There is also a bird nest under the breezeway that a robin returns to every year. *. *. *
