Thank You Thursday....
As I try to be more positive about this site. I am making Thursday's Blog Thank You Thursday.

1. Thank you to all the men that HAVE NOT emailed me since I pulled all my profile pics off except the one you can see. I still have Albums but those you can only see if you are a friend. I noticed that this really cut down on the stupid emails. Well, actually, it cut down on all emails

2. Thank you to my sweet Canadian friend who showed me how to watch NHL hockey by streaming the games. He gave me two different streaming sites!!! He also helped me download Firefox adblocker. WooWhoo....I'm so happy!

3. Thank you to myself. Today, Thursday is day 14 without a coke, candy, chocolate, cake, cookies, cupcakes, or donuts. I decided to try to eliminate sugar from my diet. I can't get the sugars down to zero, but I am cutting way back. I'm doing this for a couple of reasons. First I am<b> overweight. </font></b>I need to lose a few pounds. Second, I'm hoping it helps me sleep better at night. Lastly, I'm getting older and want to be able to enjoy my retirement.

 LTKP, it seems all you have to do to cut down the sugar is cut the "c" out of the alphabet. Keep on keeping on.

but i look at it this way, if I like it, I'm going to eat it or drink it.

 I love the idea of Thank you Thursday! Outstanding!

And, good for you on cutting out sugar, you should be damn proud of yourself. If I may...how are you feeling? I've been thinking of trying the same thing

Thank you! It has only been 2 weeks...it's hard to tell yet. The first week I woke up every night with a headache...like going thru withdrawals. I feel better about myself, even if I don't know if I feel better yet! LOL hope that makes sense.

 I have cut down on so much in recent years due to health issues that I have very, very few pleasures left - my wife cut that pleasure out too - but I still enjoy watching my favourite football (sorry soccer) team playing and we are in a Cup Final on Sunday - but apparently it's Mothers Day and 'we have plans!'...
