Happy Holidays!!!

Hey everyone! I want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays. I am sitting here feeling quite accomplished because I am done Christmas shopping. Now, normally I am the wait until the last minute kind of guy during the Holidays. I have always procrastinated over the years, yet I try to put some thought into every gift I buy for people. So, when you get a gift from me, I want you to feel the particular gift I selected for you was meant for you and only you! This year though, I am DONE!!!! I really learned my lesson during Halloween. I walked into a Party City in my area and thought that I was one of the only people who waited to get a Halloween costume at the last minute. Boy, I was sadly mistaken. There was a line that wrapped around at least three isles. I am not one for lines. I wouldn't wait in a long line if they were handing out gold bricks. It's just how I feel about lines. Anyways, I had to wait in this line because I was going to a Halloween party and I needed a costume. That's what I get for waiting until the last minute right! With that being said, I definitely learned my lesson. I wasn't going to let the holiday season kick my butt too. I was determined to kick it's butt! I started after Black Friday to shop for everyone I decided to get a gift for. I don't do Black Friday either. I would love to go out just one time, to watch how people go from David Banner and turn into the Incredible Hulk over an inanimate object they can get 30% cheaper than normal.

I know how it is out there in the streets this time of year. Traffic is super crazy. Most people in the DMV area drive like idiots. They don't use signals to turn or change lanes. They will cut you off in a heartbeat and think they had the right of way the entire time. It's crazy! The stores are way over crowded. People pack the stores like sardines in a small container. Everyone's patience and tolerance level is lower than a car's gas gauge on E. It's almost equivalent to a Black Friday event with less emphasis on a serious sale. Try to be patient and understand that people are going to be ignorant and do things that will test who you are as a person. LOL. Try to maintain your composure and sanity. Let it go and give that dummy a pass because it's the Holidays.

As I sit here and enjoy the peace of my inner sanctum, and sip on some peppermint flavored coffee or some steaming hot cocoa with some whipped cream and a cherry on top in front of the fireplace relaxing, I want you guys who are out there in the chaos of the streets to be safe. Try to keep your sanity and have a Happy Holidays!!! May you get everything you want this year.
