I've been listening to a song all day, and it has nothing to do with Azhar... it has to do with... I've been listening to a song all day, and it has nothing to do with Azhar... it has to do with the responses I've received and the blogs I've read... I luv it when I post on a blog and it brings happiness to someone... it is a good feeling... you know, we are always not on our best days... so, every now and then... 'you and I, you and I, you and i'... so, as some of you know, I will post isms from 'Dreamboy' or song lyrics or ... (usually, if I don't have anything to say about a post, I'll just put the ... out there)... I'd rather people who read me give me a piece of their mind... and, not just swoop in for the entertainment value... just sayin'... Well, the other day one of my bloggers (no one belongs to me, but, you get my gist) posted that she was in a down mood and what was she gonna do... I read the post and immediately thought of one of my mood-setting songs... I caught this song when I first watched 'Vanilla Sky'... It is by Radiohead... I love this song 'Everything in its right place'... but, I was cautious, 'cause you never know how my songs will be received... most, like them, not all of them... but, once they see the variety and what I like, most like them... some, have outright said, that's not for me... and, I say 'bubye'... because that is me... and, I don't post any deal breaker items in my profile... I'll explore and share with you and, we'll get those out of the way soon enough... the easy-going way... Well... it turns out she really liked the song... and, then, she did what I normally do when someone turns me on to new music... she went and listened to 'All I need' which is another one of my favs by Radiohead... then, she commented to my response letting me know that my first song really inspired her... I'll have to tell you that this song kind of puts you in a trance and if you saw the movie you would know what I was talking about... I thought it was written for the movie, but, it was not... as it turns out the song writer wrote the song just before a concert because he wanted to change his music style and wrote the song in a span of a few minutes... and, then put the music to it... I thought that was cool... When she posted that she liked them, then I said ok... let me help you... so I suggested that she listen to '15 steps' and 'talk show host'... the latter was featured in the movie 'Romeo & Juliet'... and I always think of that movie when I hear the song... I felt happy that she liked the song... Now, as I'm writing this I'm listening to: 'You and I' by Medina (DeadMau 5 Remix)... and, that song just puts me in a positive mood... I can see posting that song on one of my erotic posts with Azhar... or maybe a song by 'Late Night Alumni' or 'Kaskade'... I'm just psyching myself up for my next blog... I've listened to 'You and I' over 30 times today... it will be on my December cd... while the beat is Awzam, the lyrics are sad... but, who cares... I can use it... Ok, so another thing that happened today... was that one of my bloggers from Spain, came by my blogs and posted several comments... I luv that she did this... because, normally, I post on her blogs in English (she only speaks Spanish) so, I have to read it and translate it... plus, she posts some hot pics... I don't care if they are about her or not... the captions or stories are erotic... so... like I said, I post in English and usually put a song to it... well, she's never posted a song on my blog... until today... it was a CCR song... I smiled... and, she posted in English, which is hard for her to do... she made my day... I am so happy... little things mean a lot to me... Another thing happened this week... Another one of my bloggers declared that she was leaving... OMG, the inhumanity of it all... that was devastating news to me... thank god, she changed her mind... the only thing I can think of was that she wasn't going to taste this blog... Now, I'll probably never meet her in person as she lives north of the border (interestingly enough I am becoming more and more attracted to these women from north of the border... my thinking is that there are less men up there, because of the frozen tundra and, so, my odds increase...) but, the distances mean it probably won't happen... but, I have had connections of the mind with some of my bloggers, and it feels good... thanks for staying... One last thing... you may remember last month I told you all that I hadn't been with a true lover since the end of March... I had met her in June on this site last year, but, it was not to be in the cards for me... what a wonderful woman... so, I reached out to a lover I had not seen since April 2, 2013 at 4:30 pm at ABQ airport AA terminal... but, I don't remember any of the details... So, last month, I reached out to her on FB and she accepted my friend request a few days later... since that time I've posted 8 songs and a gif... she liked two of the songs, and has since began reading my posts on FB and liking them... I met her in 2006 and we dated a few months before we became intimately involved, so, no, I'm not a slam bam thank you ma 'am kind of guy... I like to kick the tires before I get taken for a ride... and, what did it was I took her to an Ambrosia concert and she said she probably wouldn't like it, but that she'd go... she liked 'country & western' before she met me... but, now she enjoys all kinds of music... she loved the concert and then we began our relationship... Well, the two songs that she liked were: 'Let it go' by Sofia Karlberg (I've professed my eternal love for her in an earlier blog (she hasn't answered my pleas yet)) and, 'Piano in the dark' by Brenda Russell (BTW, another blogger turned me on to that song... ). The gif that I posted was one of a woman's head being created by birds flying into it, and a phoenix (bright colored) flying out of her, as if to imply that this woman is complex, full of ideas and transforms into an incredible creature of God... well, that is what I think... I had also posted that gif on another's page... minimum response from that one... but, it's all good... So, I feel that my former lover is warming up to me... Yes, some of you will say... what's with Dreamboy, why don't you grow a pair and call her... Ok... a) this is my blog; b) she has things that she is dealing with in New Mexico c) I just take my time d) my profile says easy going... and, I don't want to mess her up... having said that, I'm asking you for suggestions for possible songs to send her... I've been thinking of these 'Late Night Alumni' 'Uncharted' or 'Delilah' 'Come home'... Now, there are some songs I can't post, because FB is a different site, and she has all kinds of relatives and friends that read her page... so, I can't put 'The Weeknd' or 'Tove Lo' songs on there... you know those lyrics are kind of explicit... Hi BiggLala... thanks for reading and commenting on this blog. I try to make the songs fit, but, sometimes the best I can do is fit either the melody or the lyrics... and, sometimes, I'm told it's not right... but, that's ok... because, it's the thought that counts... Yes, I did slip some new ones in here... Not everyone has caught that... they just kind of flowed... Please don't consider it homework, please consider it as positive options to keep everything in it's right place... or move them around a bit, to shake out the cobwebs... or just put it on a different perspective... Hi BiggLala. Yes, that is the correct version; 6:24 long... It, in my opinion is the best rendition of the song by Medina. Her original version is nice, but, this one kicks... and I see myself with another listening to this song in the future... kind of like another song... but, I won't post anymore now... I'll let you catch up... I had another fav song by Deadmau5... but, I'll save that one for another day too... I'm glad that you liked this song... Al Green & Marvin Gaye might be too obvious... with her, I've introduced new sounds always... and, she does let me know when she has been moved in more ways then one... she's the only woman that ever called me after we were together to thank me... that had never happened to me before or since... Hi Joy. thanks for your post... I've enjoyed listening to Ambrosia for years... They had a tour when the movie 'Knocked Up' came out as it featured 'The Biggest Part of Me'... I like that song too... I also like: 'You're the only woman'; 'Lover Arrive'; 'Time waits for no one'; 'How much I feel'... After the concert, I purchased a cd of their greatest hits... she loved it... I think if you can wear out a cd, she wore that one out... I believe that some Canadian women could warm up a man in the cold, chilly nights...
