Two potential lovers... willing to take that next step... hesitant to do so... nervous breathing from each of them... can they take the next step... Should they risk the prior relationship they had... does it make sense... take down those barriers... risk losing it all... risk the pain of it not working out and moving on to curtain #3... can they rely on each other... should they... the reference to pulling the pin... makes it seem like all or nothing...
