I will be there... have you ever said those words to someone... I know that I should have... not once... and, not to only one person... there have been those that have walked into my life... and... I let them walk out... it was never too late... it was always too little... on my part... but... isn't that what we want to hear... yes... I've heard those words before... but... I didn't listen... "sometimes... we need to be shaken... not stirred... have our brains rattled... so our lover could be heard..." (another easy going -ism)... I have no room to talk... I've poured my soul out on these blogs... some read in disbelief... others... comment to me in messages... others... like a Dionne Warwick song... just walk on by... still others... want to figure me out... go figure... what does it mean to stand by your side... to stand by your man... Miley Cyrus might have sung it best... "adore you..."... it may not be in her nature to truly mean it... I hope that it would be in mine... not lust... not desire... but... like in a Jerry Maguire movie quote... "brutal honesty..." oh... it can be a bitch... and, yet... when I read these lyrics... I am not aroused... I am not lusting after the singer... I am left thinking... wait a minute... who cares how much a human head weighs... did you really have me at hello... I think not... I think we had each other at "you're the perfect combination of sexy and cute..." not... although... if that line works... I'm willing to try it... I'm not a deep thinker... I'm not too deep for you... the question is... could I be there... like the words written here... to adore you... to hold you... to cry to... to be there... Of course... these are just inspired words from lyrics to a song you've never heard... ...
