I'm about aliens, cowboys, death and destruction, unbelievable tales where men are men and women are women... I like superman, batman, incredible hulk, the walking dead, It... really, really scary, gory movies... those are the media experiences that define me... so let's be sure about that... I do not like chick flicks... Oh sure... if I did (but, I don't) I might have a "top" 10 list (mere coincidence)... Be that as it may... I don't like chick flicks... Give me "Cool Hand Luke"... "Bullet"... "The Fast and the Furious (1 thru 7)"... any Bond movie... Alien(s) (1 thru infinity)... Terminator... Godzilla... Ender's Game... Fury... I hope that I have made this crystal clear... like my only preference is for women... melonlicious breasted women... and some "not-so" melonlicious breasted women with intriguing minds, -isms, writing ability, and such... that blow me away... they take me to places I want to be... in my mind... killing me ever so softly because I haven't known them in the biblical sense... yet... lips watering... tongue putting a mild suppressant over them.. my love potion would be from their making... from their essence... their minds touching mine... opening the butterfly wings to wrap me up in... like a Christmas gift... only better.. So... I happened to be watching "Maid in Manhattan"... it could happen to anyone... Yes, I must confess I'd seen it before... afterall... Jennifer Lopez is in it... I luv women... Latin women included... Back to my story... you know... I've told you all that I find<b> songs </font></b>with all of my filters opened... some of you have closed off filters you never realized you had... you no longer are open to new things... like you once were... I like the old and the new... I cling to classics just like I seek that new Adele.. that new Tina Dyco... that new Sia... that new Hannah Reid... and the next set of news... or firsts as I like to think of them... So... I'm watching the movie... barely... 'cause... you know... and, this song comes on like a missing ingredient to a recipe... like the fluttering of the thoughts of luv running thru... otherwise... innocent, day-to-day occurrences... "Come away with me in the night... come away with me... and I will write you a song..." or... sing you a lullaby... or two... on our way to a first... these lyrics could seal the deal for us... I would pen words for us... taking them off of your lips... those lips I kiss... the ones I long to be with... both sets... of course... Let us go somewhere we cannot be tempted with lies... where we can make luv on clouds... be together... all alone... without being lonely... let us be a happy ending to a great first step of the rest of our lives... like in a movie... where coincidences keep happening... we will make our own path... our own steps together... there will be obstacles in our way... if it were easy...you wouldn't be reading this now... you wouldn't be here... fairytale stories live inside us... they may have been trapped and covered up with baggage we've forgotten journeys ago... (another easy going ism)... I'm willing to find that way with you... please give these a read... and, maybe a listen... ... Hi Joy. thanks for visiting and posting these comments on my blog... that is my fave by Norah... you are opening up to new non 21st century music... and, I for one... have noticed... that's a good thing... yes... who does luv chick flicks... no one I know... well, not in the biblical sense... still... but, if I did... "Crazy, Stupid love" would be up there somewhere... along "The English Patient" and "City of Angels"... but, I'm not even paying attention to these choices... not even "Sleepless in Seattle" which would be my all-time fave... if I liked chick flicks... just sayin'... hmm...
