When your last relationship ended... do you remember the good times... the bad times... is that void deep... inside your head... did you get ared... can we do a "do-over"... I'm only asking for a first with you... but, these lyrics got me to thinking of my past memories... the fear... the greener pastures... the easier path... that quick decision... seemed ok then... now... maybe not so ok... does it feel like drowning... are the sleepless nights killing you... is your angst filled with a re-wind of those "oh so special" nights... the cracks won't fix themselves... the ars will mend over time... but... the pain lingers... why must it be this way...
