I Just Got A Phone Call!

This is what I heard coming from the phone...

Elect Trump blah, blah, blah, blah...

Blah, blah, Hillary, blah, blah, blah...

Press 1 to help, blah, blah, blah...

Press 1 to help, blah, blah, blah...

Press 1 to help, blah, blah, blah...

To be removed from this service press 9.

Jeez it takes them so long to get to the point sometimes.

This isn't an exact representation of the aforementioned conversation but I think you get the point.

I wonder if these messages confuse German speaking folks?

 I have an unpublished number and I pay for it BUT I discovered that "they" can buy numerical listings with no names and I get those calls. I report them
as harassment - there is a place for that on Google. And my caller ID is in the handset so I try to ignore the ones I do not recognize- but it's becoming damned annoying

I'd like to know why it is that the politicians think that we the people thought that it was okay to allow political callers to be exempt from the "Do Not Call List".... Seems they are always thinking of themselves doesn't it.

 thank goodness I have never got any calls like that, beside the average working person do not have money to throw away, and they have better things to do with their money, they aren't going to give you anything in return for that money.

I'm sure if I had been fool enough to push 1 I would have been solicited for funds to assist Trump in defeating the evil corrupt Hillary. Not for a campaign donation of course because he did say he was going to fund his own campaign didn't he... and he never lies does he?

I do have caller ID and this number was from Waterloo NY, but this number had called several times and not left a message and being as I have customers calling from all over the States sometimes I answer even if it looks like an odd number.

Usually I just hang up when the machine starts but I just listened this time... sort of anyway... I was listening for that last line... nein.
