Body art

I have tattoo's , self inflicted scars, brands , had my ears pierced but i just cant wrap my head around some of the newer body art ive seen of late . Giant metal washers in ears, huge demon tattoos on tits , neck/face tats ... as accepting as society has become of body mods some things i just dont see ever becoming the norm. Do people not think or are they so self absorbed they assume that just because they like plastering images on the canvas of their skin or gouging holes that dont go away ... employers are going to ignore that .... guess im just an opinionated old fart .. by all means get ink or dont get piercings or dont but dont complain when they prevent your future prosperity
