Early to rise . . .

Early to rise . . .

Woke up much too early this morning, and couldn't fall back to sleep. I do feel healthy, but no so much wealthy or wise.

Trying to decide what I want to do this weekend — do have plans to see some old friends this evening, and watch the basketball games, so I'm looking forward to that. I've found a few relatively-local parks that I haven't visited before, so I might go hike one or two of the trails. Last I heard, the weather doesn't sound like it's going to be particularly pleasant, but sometimes that makes for more interesting treks. If nothing else, it usually means the trails will be less crowded.

In fact, one of my most memorable recent excursions came on a day when it was 14 degrees out, and the ground was covered in 4 or 5 inches of hard, icy snow. Ascending the steep ravines was . . . tricky? Exhausting? Terrifying? Yeah, terrifying (I'm clumsy as hell!) But the views were spectacular, and didn't come across a single person (though the footprints and two or three cars in the lot let me know they were out there. Somewhere.)

Anyway, I'm sure I'll find some sort of trouble to get into. Hope you all have a great weekend as well, and I'll end this post on a very important question:

If possession is nine-tenths of the law, is exorcism stealing?
