Weight Control #6: The "you're fat" moment (poll for the guys)  

Okay I have one more question on this. I am doing all of this six weeks before bikini season as a public service to beautify the beautiful beaches of this great land come summertime.

I know from the polls that 2/3 of the readers of this blog are male and those are mostly over 40.

And, all of the stats on this topic say that this age group is experiencing about 50% either overweight or obese. Also, based on my limited sampling of photos from AFI I don't think there is reason to believe that this portion of the population is any different.

So no one is teasing anybody. I will put a calculated wager on this one.

So presumably there was a point at which someone told you the bad news. This may have come either directly or indirectly. You may have been in denial at that moment but later reluctantly agreed. You may also be resisting taking the steps you need to fix the problem, because it would mean some lifestyle changes.

So I want you to think about this moment, and who it was who gave you the bad news, if it has happened yet...
