As part of my comment on another's blog about winking I mentioned there was one specific wink that I will never ever forget. I was prompted to post a blog about it

But instead I will write about auto repair made simple with legos

KIDDING!!!!

I first met N on another website when it was still using its initial name. We corresponded a bit and decided to meet Our kissing was ultimate and pure...this was after actually meeting first and having some food and then adjourning to my van

Absolutely!! I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with N and when I would wink at her it wasn't always just out of the blue in the store or whatever. There were specific times I would intentionally wink at her to let her know what was in store for after dinner or after our short road trips

I've never been a winker except with my nieces & nephew. I've had very few men wink at me, except a few bosses.

I would say it is a long lost art of flirting but I don't think it is. I think kissing my hand is like a wink.

The proper way is to lightly take the woman's hand, WHEN OFFERED, letting it rest on yours (meaning without gripping it) and raise it slightly...to about elbow level... then you bow down and make the gesture of kissing it but do not actually kiss it. This is done as a sign of respect for a lady as well as admiration.

The reason a gentleman never actually kisses the hand is to keep her hand...or a glove as was usually the case... from becoming soiled. Ladies were usually a lot cleaner than men back in those days so it was a sign of interest or admiration to make the gesture but a sign of respect in not making actual contact.

I could very well be highly mistaken in this presentation done from memory, not google or wikipedia, but I will refuse to believe I have made ANY mistake whatsoever
