Why Do I Stay Here? A Poem

Why do I do it still
When my luck
Is ever so terrible?
It's like hitting my head
Against the wall.
Perhaps that is the answer
I'm suffering from
A concussion
And or amnesia.

Should I wear a helmet
When I venture
On to dating websites?
Or would that just
Mask mistakes
And the pain
That is subsequent?

I should probably
Take a break
At the very least.
Take time to heal
And lick my wounds a bit.

I am not strong enough for this!
I can't handle any more shit!
In all seriousness I should quit!
But there are some folks
I would miss.
And I have that hope spring
Inside of me
That never stops working.

 Don't let those pretty blue eyes ever give up on finding that special someone. Here or shopping at your local grocery supermarket. You never know where you will find him.

Probably not on this site.
Do activities that you really enjoy- walks with your small dog....
Change your pace and don't always reach out. Have HIM reach out to you.
Park, gym, shopping,
Sitting on a park bench- just watching people go by.
Wish I could help, but if I reach out,
I would be just another guy from this site. Another time.
I do enjoy reading your blog.
