Tell Folks How You Fell In Love A Poem

Someday I want you
To tell the story
Of how you felll
In love with me.
Not to put words
In your mouth
But this is what
I can forsee.

Tell folks how we talked
About any and everything
How we laughed
About funny anecdotes
How we both
Thought we were ourselves
Each pretty amusing
And entertaining.

Tell folks how we flirted
How I loved
The sound of your voice.
How I was so
Very complimentary.
That you couldn't help
Feeling good about yourself.

Tell folks that I had
A big heart
That I was compassionate.
That I was supportive
And wanted the best
For you and yours.
That I was quick
To offer kisses and hugs
Virtual to start
But the affection
Was real in person.

Ah yes! In person
How our chemistry
Was off the charts!
My green eyes
Taking in all of you
Like I couldn't get enough!
You had never seen
That level of hunger
Of desire
That translated into passion.

They don't really need
The intimate details.
Let them use
Their imaginations.
Suffice it to say
Time was never<b> wasted
</font></b>In the bedroom!

Tell them finally
That it was my honesty
I was simply
A good person.
Who loved wholeheartedly
Who gave so much
Asking little in return
It was just my nature
To treat others
As I would like to be treated.
Making people smile
And their days brighter.

This was not written with anyone in particular in mind. I have no clue really why guys fall in love. Although to me it seems that it is possibly superficially related to looks. I could use some guys' opinions on the matter. If you are of the opinion that love is overrated or doesn't matter that is not the attitude I am looking for... LOL.

 My FWB has declared her love for me. I havnt declared the same in return however. I asked WHY she loved me, what had I done to deserve her love, and she didnt answer for 24 hrs. Turns out I am only the 3rd man she has ever been with in her entire life (she is 59), and apparently I am the 1st to treat her decently ! What the hell do I do now?
