Say Hi Before Adieu A Poem

Say Hi Before Adieu Written in 2017

He disappears
When I come on line
Is it coincidence?
Or a matter of time?

I might cry
If it is deliberate
I would wonder why?
What have I done?
I am far away
My questions
Can do no harm
Avoiding me
Is pretty easy
You can remain
As you are
And have been
Silent.

You do know
That I have cared
About you
I cared about
Our friendship
I am hoping
That is not through
Or over and done with.

I know I need you
More than you need me
That is very true
And hard to dispute.
But I am hoping
You can remain
A friend still
Even if you have
No time at the moment.

Can you say hi
Before adieu?
A simple question
That requires
A yes or no answer.
If it is not
Too much of a bother
I would appreciate it.
