Mornings A Poem

Mornings written in 20

Mornings and I
We pass in the night.
For of a bird species
I resemble an owl.
I would not change
For my<b> feathers
</font></b>Would be ruffled.

And Owls
Are they not wise?
They keep those hours
For a purpose!
They are on guard!
They play sentinel!
Have you seen an owl walk?
It is a spectacle!

Mornings
They are welcome
For others
To me they are a time to adjourn
For a respite
Until I break my fast
With a boiled egg or two
Oh the owl in me does sometimes cry foul!
But we rarely speak of it!
