A Smile Could Be. A Poem

He makes me smile.
Is it as simple as that?
A foundation to build upon
On the way to love
Or should that thought
Be a stepping stone?

That idea of a stepping stone
I once compared
All my ex lovers
All that negativity
I would sooner forget
It's just life
File it under
Learning from
My mistakes.

A smile could be
The beginning.
Love could take seed
Take hold
Take over my senses
I will gain
By losing control.
Hopefully he feels the same.
Or he will be just
Another stepping stone
Along the way.

 Well, I hope you soon find the right gentleman to fire the muse into overdrive!

If you consider that the right person will eventually come along, then this period of solitude, or fruitless questing is but finite and each passing day brings you closer to the happy ending that you seek.
