 I went with the first one as it is the only one that I've seen! hehe

I had no idea there were so many versions of this movie. Are they all based on the same idea as the original? I mean, suicide, afterlife, second chance to live a little sort of deal?

Yes, all share that theme. Part II is a true sequel to the first. Parts 3 and 4 have Lois Ayres in the lead role, and I think are about her journey through hell. Part 3 won the Best Film AVN award in 1987. I've seen 5 and 6, but quite some time ago. I think they strayed from the original quite a bit. The New Devil In Miss Jones was a remake of the original and was quite good. It won the Best Film AVN award in 2006. I have not seen the "Resurrection" movie with Belladonna yet. The main character's name is different, so I'm not sure how it relates to the rest of the series.
