I am so glad at 57 that I am married! I think dating now would take all of my energy that is best spent in the bedroom!  Happy New Year!  Become a Apollorising2057 blog watcher!

Did you watch the Dating Game when you wee younger? No Do you even remember it? Yes Do you find mid life dating harder now in midlife, than you did when in our late teens, 20's or 30's? Kinda same really. Far as finding women, while I'm not in a big city like I was in my teens, 20's or 30's being online makes up for some of that. Being on this site makes finding women who are freer sexually is more or less easier. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Yes i remember it ,yes i did watch it .I found it slighty more difficult because everyone has a life by the time they hit 35 ,ex's, jobs ,kids, parents houses etc . Time is very precious to most but i see it mostly because priorities are all messed up .If you do not make finding a mate to share your life a priority ,It will most certainly never happen .Sometimes it is very tough to make the call .I have never dated anyone more than 10 yrs younger ,they just don't appeal to me no matter how tight they look lol. I dated one lady kinda long distance , 90 miles away , for 3 yrs , we got along great , she was intelligent , sexy, active , healthy mostly ,hard working , but the baggage of her past was too much and took all her time to carry .I understood because she had a young daughter and an ex who was mentally ill and could not pay support , she had to choose her kids and home .I could tell she felt she lost out on getting me in her life , but she chose correctly , I knew she was not "the one" she was really great ,just not the one . I found the one 3 years later online from minnesota 711 miles away ?! an honest mature hard working christian woman .with mid west values and integrity , she was past most of the drama , daughter was 19 ,no other kids, did not take support , did have an elderly mom to help take care of . but she was the one ,she is all of 1 yr younger lol. we dated long distance 6 months before i agreed to meet , once we did she was done for hahahaha . we dated 2 more years and i asked her to marry me , and a year later we got married . she still lives in mn for work and i live in NY where i own a business. we willwait til she retires early , move together to where we want to be .kids all grown , moms passed, debts payed . free to live and love as deeply as we can until we die . yes it takes patience, maturity , and communication . not common things now a days .

Dating at mid life is a rather tortuous affair as a man.For one we don't have the porn industry promoting us and erasing any myths as the do with women of my peers. I was never really aware of this cancer called overfiftynoma.Tjat attacks the male gender exclusively.I don't date to feel younger. We don't any adulation from younger women that changes our personality as it does older women.Inever had a problem with age other people do and since those other people are the ones I'd like to date.I just have to except that judgment day was already issued .
