I like to think that I'm an optimist, but I like to say how it is whether or not someone likes it or not, yes I do use a filter most of the time. But like my hubby tells everyone he married me because I'm a NICE BITCH..lol..And he means it in the best way of all.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Hey Joy, I prefer to try and keep a positive outlook. I'm reminded of a quote from one of my favourite sci fi shows: " One must have faith that the universe will unfold as it should." I mean sure we all have bad days but what's the point dwelling on it.

IMO you left out an option - realist. Taking things as they come and dealing with them in whatever way is most appropriate. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I am a optimistic about being pessimistic or vice versa…which ever applies at the moment. Would I what!!! Make a mess and not clean it up….sheesh,,,,there is nothing like having something nagging at you when you know it is there. My glass is never full,,I drink it or pour it out at the end of the day it is in the dishwasher…in construction nothing is impossible,,there is a way, one just has to think it. I am not perky,,,some would say silly or head in the clouds. Me I like the images I see in the clouds. I have dealt with that dark side of depression too,,,a very pessimistic place to be. Paint on a smile and go forth like you don’t have a care; is the starting place to beat back depression.

Last year was not a great year for me. I lost my dear friend. I miss her dearly. But, with that being said, I look at the glass as half full. Have too!! Life is too short!!

From the bottom of my heart (certainly a bit lower from my heart appreciates you as well) - I am at my core an optimist. That optimism has caused me a lot of pain of late and I've lost my way. I joined this site for all the wrong reasons, but in the midst of it I found reasons to stay - not the least of which is your blog. Going to take a break, but I just wanted to say thank you for this. This post has helped more than I can ever say. Keep up the blogging!
