Trips are always nice but I always dread coming back because the work piles up when you are gone and it seems like everyone wants their job the instant you return. Kind of takes the enjoyment out of your trip. However, it sounds like you had plenty of enjoyment and a little icing on the cake for later. Don't you just love the lasting sweet thoughts... and I really love it when a certain smell travels back with me that reminds me of someone special and the pleasure had. My weekend will be working on gift projects and watching football. Kind of boring for most people I would guess.

nada ,,none,,,yard work ,,still putting away summer...almost done though...but will still be doing some around the 15 th of this month..hope that will be the final mowing for the year...depending on snow fall...have not got out the winter hardware...shovels and salt ,,going to get that done soon too. leaving is always difficult. So why think about it ,,,live in the minute...tomorrow will come ,,and if not what difference does it make. You are making me think of the John Denver tune: "Leaving on a Jet Plane"  I prefer the Peter Paul n Mary version of "Leaving on a Jet Plane" ...  Have fun Joy.

Oh yes, I know that one quite well Joy...Jet airliner...ty for reminding me. A lot more upbeat than my choices but I still love a lot of Peter Paul and Mary. Their version is more haunting than John Denver's version but he has a few tunes I like.
