That's nice that you turned them on to Classic Rock. My friends who have kids have turned them on to The Beatles, Stones, Doors etc. I hope you are having fun!!

Never a Loverboy fan, but seeing the kids would be fun. The In-laws is something I'd avoid, considering my track record with ALL my "in-laws".

I will confess to having been (irrationally) cynical about classic rock band concerts in the second decade of the 21st Century (excepting of course the Rolling Stones, who are- and should be- ageless). They felt too much like the guy in the office who refuses to retire because he's has nothing better to do with his life. However, I've spent time watching AXS's broadcasts of some recent concerts by classic rock bands and have come to appreciate how well our aging rock icons can both reinterpret their "oldies-but-goodies" in refreshing ways and collaborate with younger musicians who have the requisite skills and stamina to make these live performances transcendent. Enjoy!
