havent given myself one yet, but why bother? who am i going to impress while socially-distancing with masks on? did do it once though, long ago. seemed i didnt do too bad a job, but apparently the back wasnt so great. took some ribbing from one particular group of co-workers, all younger, until i finally told them that anyone who paid that much attention to the back of my head should go ahead and kiss my ass while theyre there. didnt hear another word about it . . .  "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

My hair, though totally white now, is still quite thick and tends to get bushy. Yesterday I broke out an old pair of thinning shears and hacked away. I then touched up with a pair of regular scissors. Overall, with the exception of one spot where I damn near balded myself, not TOO bad - and surely less bushy. I gave myself a trim. I have very thick, wavy hair. If I don't keep it short, it starts to do flips and curls, and I end up looking like the Caesar Romero version of The Joker!

..... a Friday trim of the author's mop... ... came out nice, there is no slop.... ... a little here, a little there... ... but I have to grin... because below she's bare! .... ...Finger lickin' good..... and the special sauce is tasty I suspect....

I do hope the haircut in the first comment earned the wearer a princely sum.  But then, it will eventually return to normal if allowed. Tattoos are permanent. Look up Conner Ryan on boobpedia to see what I mean. (I Know you have a few, but they are not generally visible) I have cut my own hair for maybe eight years now. Tapered and straight guards and a handheld mirror to see the wall mounted mirror keep me from gouging it too badly. But then I don't let it go more than about four weeks and then the longest is half an inch expect for the top and that is thin and maybe four inches maximum.

I swear by my hair trimmers and use them regularly on my head, beard.and yes even my pubes. Every time I pass the barbers I laugh at how much cash I have saved  And even the most critical person must surely admit I look absolutely adorable do I not?

I got a trim before lock done so I can deal for a while. My job is intact, healthcare branch but cut back. And i have save paid time off. Im good there. And in midst of all this, I met a great guy out in real life. Covid may be a bitter sweet for me if he works out. I always wanted to be a redhead. I may get bold and try it one day.

The Mrs game me a trim last week and I trimmed down the goatee day before yesterday...she always does my hair because there isn't much to trim and noth worth the money for a salon to do it!

Hi Joy thanks for taking me further with a scary hair cut I was half expecting some terrible story starting like this "I put AC/DC on and starting singing to "For thos about to rock..." and then, I grabbed "Big Blue" whew, thankfully, it wasn't that kind of a story still... So my friends and fellow bloggers, have you given yourself a home haircut yet? no, but, over time, some women have felt the need to trim my hair in all sorts of places, just sayin' Do you still have a job or has it closed due the pandemic? thank god, I still have a job, but, it could disappear at any moment. That's one thing I've learned over the years, no matter how good you are, you are only a disaster, economic downturn, or pandemic away from being out of work I hope you find something soon be safe, be strong reminded me of this one Five Man Electrical Band - "Signs" And the sign said "Long-haired freaky people need not apply" So I tucked my hair up under my hat and I went in to ask him why He said "You look like a fine upstanding young man, I think you'll do" So I took off my hat, I said "Imagine that. Well, you know I'm still working.  But I've never tried to cut or trim my own hair. Like my Mom the top is thin, but the sides and the back act more like my Dad's hair, thick and full. Any attempt by me to cut or trim it and I'd look like the kittle kid who got ahold of the clippers for the first time...with I'm I'm sure bald patches. Your looks good though, nice job!

You can probably see that I know nothing of haircuts personally. I do know that I never got a haircut in the nude. Am I missing out?

I am getting close. I actually got a haircut days before everything shut down. I will not try my haircut, so it could be the first time in my life it goes over my ears

I have Tweezerman professional scissors and I use them when I am desperate. I might last another week. And I have done it often even when it ws waist long (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group
