Glad to hear that she'll be fine! 👍
Ya know... back in the day, none of us would wear helmets playing hockey or skating around. For that matter, we used to drink outta the hose in the summer.
Go figure, huh? 🤔
Times have changed. Some things for the better. I've smacked my head on the ice more than once. 😶 Perhaps that explains a few things for me. 🤔

Just make sure that you take them off before an episode of carnal rapture with your current beau...

Nice poem my friend. I just helped my neighbor across the street from me. I shoveled her driveway from the snowstorm we just had. Her husband passed away three years ago. She offer to pay me cash, I said no. We are all on this earth for a short time, and it's nice to do nice things, especially this time of year.

Whenever I press a stud finder to my chest, it always beeps . Whenever I've had an accident, it was always something unexpected. On a ladder, holding a chain saw, super careful. Taking food out for the cats, slipped and fell on a icy deck. Didn't see that coming. Your foot attire may be in my future. Be safe!

Got me to recalling a HNW Tools shot from a few years back.

Be careful, falling on the ice hurts, I know. That invention for the ice might work. But the invention if you put on your chest and let you know if you a stud, if it do it , it would show "Dud", instead of "Stud".

Glad your sis will be ok. That ice can be so treacherous. I’ve taken some nasty slips on the ice in the past. The worst one was when I fell on my ass and really bruised my tailbone.

Funny women are incredibly sexy!

Glad to hear your sister is well. Any sort of fall can be scary for us well seasoned folks.
I have only been in snow twice in my life. Only shortcoming of living in perpetual good weather.

I have to agree with scoupe , if I used a stud finder on myself it would beep”dud”! Lol

My name is MrWrong and I approved this comment

I remember the neighborhood boys wearing their sport cleats to drag us up the icy hill on our sleds. Thank you for the memory.

They would have been useful on my walk this morning. There were a few slippery spots.

This reminded me of a time I could have used them in the summer. There had been rain that day. I was walking to a work event on a city street. There was a section that for whatever reason, was slippery as ice. I fell twice on that section. Whenever I pass that spot now, I am careful.
