We should be who we are regardless of the times and not be so easily offended by what others say or do.

I want to take you into the fiery lair of steamy sexual delight on this hot sultry night.

We all bleed red and God made us all from a man. Like any race you have good and bad and Most Americans in my book are assholes for sure. I read a blog last night and he and his wife are friends of mine and a man was so very verbal abusive to the wife , that I wanted to reach threw the computer and strangle the jerk for all the nasty things he said. When I read other Blogs about how most Americans talk well it makes me sick. Kids bullie but you would think grown adults have learned by now. Everyone has rights but you need to learn how to be tactful when saying it. We all put our pants on one leg at at time. There is no need to run your mouth about some one on there Blog. If any one has a problem with what the Blogger has posted, just leave and not say a word. We all have a right to blog and if it's not up to your liking then why not just stay away for good. I was blocked by another blogger for whatever reason. I never even went to her blog since I have been blogging. That just tells me she is not a mature grown woman.
I totally agree with you on this. If they don't like what we have to say, they can keep there mouth shut and stay off of our Blogs. Keep writing my friend. Krama has a way off coming around to them.

The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

people are too touchy and sensitive on a lot f things. how can you be less of what you are? I'm black and have a vey darker skin, like Wesley Snipes, we not going to get any lighter. But, this is who we are. That was a rude comment that was said to you and about you. But no atter what people say, all you can do is be you! Be the BEST you, you can be, and if they don't like it, the hell with them! One words of wisdom, as a friend. being a writer or if you just writing something, some people might like it, but you have your haters. Just do what you enjoy doing, they going to hate, but it's a only a couple of them, compare to the many who enjoys your talent. So if you get 100 people and only 3 are haters. We all can live them odds!

Our planet — thankfully —has become more sensitized to critical social issues that were previously glossed over, ignored and accepted as proper. Perceptions of inappropriate stereotyping of races — black or yellow or any tint in between - are NOT owned by Americans.

We should ALL be more sensitive. We ALL have the responsibility to make sure that ignorance of the past isn't accepted as something to buy because it's been there for our lifetime.

I read this morning where the Doctor had 6 of his children's stories taken out of circulation. After reading the article, I realized it was the right thing to do.

There are no gray lines when it comes to racism, stereotypical afflictions and acceptance of what was right for 'yesterday.' We are evolving into a better planet — thankfully.

I understand your concern, but I have to differ to a cliché; 'Change is good', especially when it's the RIGHT thing to do.

OMG! my dear Author, boy have you opened a can of worms here!
I believe in the USA the 1st ammendment gives its citizens the right to free speech.
Free speech does not of course exist in any part of the world that I know of.
One cannot call a person of colour the N word for instance as they may find it offensive, I know for instance in my country one can be arrested for using this word and it is classed as a racial hate crime, yet it is fine for one person of colour to use this word when talking to another person of colour.
The C word is also considered offensive by many, why this particuler swear word?
You are correct my dear Author when you say some folk are just far too sensitive, on A F F a thick skin is required.
One last word on this subject and I will shut up.
I do not understand the slogan "Black lives matter"
why not "Black lives matter, all lives matter" or just simply
"ALL LIVES MATTER"

GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Joy,

Like you I Love Dr Seuss and his stories. I was not aware of his more controversial works. Heck, I love " How The Grinch Stole Christmas " but if his estate and publishers believe in shelving this 6 books and never publishing them again ( in its own way a ban ) than I say good for them thinking about this and how these books might be seen in a bad light and create sadness.

I was raised by Parents who truly did believe in every life matters..Human & animal...We were taught to NEVER use slang or racist terms for people.. I am of British / Irish / Dutch and 2 Tribes of American Indian..Roman Catholic.. You name a nasty term and I've heard it..If my Parents had ever caught me or any of my Brothers using racist terms we'd be sent outside, cut a switch and get a whopping for it..( BTW None of us ever used those grotesque words. ) Yet now if I say what we were raised to believe in, it upsets people..so now I say Yes, all lives matter BUT right now Black lives matter more as they are now the ones more at risk than ever before. (I know this as my younger brother is Half white-Half African American )

Happy Wed All,

Ana6

Hello Flannel,

Hoping this one American ( Moi ) can change your mind. Not all of Us are bad..A lot of Americans are very loud & scary but not all of Us are bad.. I think the reason you might have been blog blocked is not for anything you did or said but more for who you know, who you are friendly with and who you have stood up for.

That Takes Courage , especially on this website,

Happy Wed,

CockyChris says it all! People are wayyyyy too sensitive.
Be careful, Author, about your facts. I wouldn't say "most Americans" are too sensitive, it's the American Democrats that are as wacky as fuck.
The conservatives in our country are mad as hell about Dr. Suess, Coke, BLM, etc....Me? I'm just as grey/neutral as they come, but I lean to the right just a little.

Have a great day, and be nice to one another.
