Just today another tenant told me it's the government controlling us. I walked away. Should of asked her does she wear a seat belt because it's the law? Or for her safety. Does she stay within the speed limit? Lots of things we don't like for it's for our safety and for others. She must be a supporter of her NOT mine last president. Surprised she got the vaccine.

Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

I had the Pfizer vaccine about 2.5 weeks ago. The only reaction I had was a minor sore arm for about 36 hours and I was a little fatigued the day after I got the shot. It was all good and it makes me feel much safer.
Good Luck to You getting yours

The virus can kill you. A blood clot might kill you. The vaccine could prevent you from getting the virus (and therefore, potentially, save your life). Any medication or medical/dental procedure carries a small risk of complications, side-effects and fatality. It is all about risk assessment. It was pointed out that your risk of dying in a car crash is vastly higher than that of having a fatal clot due to the vaccine, yet we all happliy drive. Many of the people fretting about this are smoker, drinkers, drug users, over-weight or never take exercise. What matters is not dying - it's the living you do before it happens: we are all mortal and the Grim Reaper has a wicked sense of humour.

A couple of blood clotting incidents in 8.3 million shots is nothing to worry about. Perhaps the patients had underlaying conditions that facilitated the clotting.

No vaccine shot for me yet Joy... hopefully soon. No question this virus is scary but the potential blood clotting risks from the vaccines appear to be very rare.

There is a small chance something will come up with any of those shots. There were pre-existing conditions in those where things went off the rails.
You'll be fine. Heck, there was a less than one percent chance that I'd grow another limb; been a week and so far —nothing is blooming. 😎❗❗👍

I had my 1st A-Z shot a few weeks ago. No problem for me. Never even had a sore arm. As for the blood clots, check and see how many women develop blood clots from birth control medication. Have a great day Joy.

I have had life threatening blood clots and will likely be on medication for the rest of my life. My hematologist (blood specialist) assured me of the low risk. As he put it, better to be vaccinated, that risk getting Covid. I had my first dose of Pfizer last week and have had no issues.
I saw this chart which also puts it into perspective:

Joy, it looks like you have opened a can of worms today, I am just about to have my second Astro Zeneca jab, I am not too keen on vaccines but anti vaccers have not convinced me, I am not afraid of a quick death but I don't fancy long covid. So I decided I will take a chance on vaccines as I might get fucked over by covid and for all the Trump suckers, Donald never had covid it was just a stunt by an egotistical fool that cares only for himself, your risk of a blood clot is less than choking on your food and guess what, get covid and you are very likely to get one.

I had the choice of the 2-shot Pfizer, or 1-shot J+J. Despite the extra effort I went with Pfizer as it is marginally more effective.

I got the J & J vaccine a month & 3 days ago!

I had VERY minimal arm tenderness and that was basically it for symptoms. IF I experienced anything, it may have been a bit more fatigue than usual. But I do work night work and try to sleep days (doesn't always go well). Thankfully I did have the next 2 nights off work after the shot.

The count on women with blood clots is 6 last I heard and one has apparently died! It seems the women were age 24 - 48.

My daughter who is a nurse wondered if they asked these women about birth control...whether they take anything for it! Birth control can cause blood clots in some women...soooooo maybe a correlation?

Or they are not sure that the vaccine is actually related just yet! Clearly they have to err on the side of caution though!

When you look at the percentage of the 6 compared to more than 4 million doses having been administered, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention....the odds are still good for the vaccine.

But any issue again...needs to be checked out.

I had the AstraZeneca dose 3+ weeks ago -- encountered some pretty intense headaches for 2 days after and nothing since. A neighbour had similar experience. I will get my second dose when it is available.

I am amazed by the number of people who do not understand the simple concept that meme describes.
Getting my 2nd Phizer shot tomorrow. Had zero reaction to the first one.

If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin."

I always behave. Preferably not well.
