You seem to be the most positive (or least negative) in blogland about the new format. Unfortunately I don't share your optimism. The format is still one big head-fuck. Glitches aside, it takes many clicks to get where you want to go and the menu pages don't give the same overview as with the existing format. It's the site's intention to separate the community from the dating side of things and allow non-members to participate in blogs and groups.

One of the things i really like about you Ms Joy. You always seem to find the positive in anything. Haven't braved the new community yet. But will when i get some free time. My real job is taking up a lot of my time. Just "love" cleaning up empty apartments after slobs have lived in them for years and did nothing but tear them up. Just don't see how some folks can live in a place and NEVER clean it !!!

I've never been great with change but I also like new ideas and opportunities. IF the new Community format allows for better integration with other social platforms, I'm all for that. I haven't tried the beta yet, so my question is a simple one. What exactly is the current divide people are speaking of? I blog (and love it), but I also like chatting. Both offer different types of interaction but if they are being considered as separate entities, It will leave me with an interesting choice to make. The dating profile doesn't affect me since I have no real use for it but understand those souls such as yourself, Dear Joy, who need it. My name is MrWrong and I approved this comment
